Also, I talked to all regimental leaders about the 91st joining directly into the first league after this season. As you may know they were the first champion of NWL in 2013. And as a pretty strong regiment they would probably just rush through league 2 like 92nd before. 92nd never really asked for rising up, 91st did.
So I asked Brot and St3fan, both of them agreed. And also 10 of 18 regiments agreed on 91st joining into league 1 directly. I talked to the regiments, which said "No" again after the voting ended, and most of them were fine with 91st rising up. So 91st will fill the last slot in league 1, and I hope all regiments can deal with this. Also thanks to the 91st for hosting 3 NWL server for the upcoming season. :)

Brot will create them in the next days, we had another change, so we were unable to create them until now. 59th and 23e also swapped spots, because the 23e doesn't want to be in League 1, 59th does. I asked regiments like the 3rd before (from last season), but they don't want to step up, and we need a balanced 1st and 2nd League so 59th will be in charge to play in League 1 this season.
Now all regiments are fixed and the Line Up is 100% complete, no more requests. I hope everyone can deal with this. I tried to make my best, so no regiment has to be unhappy with his league. Fixtures will be there soon! :)

As far as I know absolutely nothing. No re-inclusion of the hill rule ;p Though if it does suddenly become re-added it should be shortened to 4 mins instead of 5 ;p

Will you be doing more than just first league?Yh we will be streaming every match we can get, but of course we will focus on the first league as all leagues would be too much work especially as all matches are always around the same time. That is the unfortunate limitation we have right now.

Just had the spartan 1v1 and it ended in a 5:5 but we would like to dispute a referee's decision.
In the final round when the two lines where just around 30ft away, our officer was shot (Standing NEXT to the line and thus was an officer aim by your rule sets) and both lines had around 20+ left. Due to our officer being shot, we couldn't move out effectively and thus when the spartans engaged in melee, we lost it as we had lost our high command and thus the good organisation.
An officer aim at such a pivotal moment we though should be worth a reset round which the admin didn't enforce and so the match ended in a draw.
Like I said, we would like to appeal this decision and we question the referee's ability to referee in itself.
I believe the match was streamed as well including recordings so there is plenty of evidence.
P.S I did enjoy the LB though (Up to the last round), good melee and shooting. Thanks for the match Spartans.

I never said it wasn't an officer aim btw, and I was in the move to punish (slay) the guy who shot Crumpet. But he got shot directly after the officer aiming. And yes, it was a big mistake to write "Reset?" in the internal admin chat, but this was just an accident. Sorry for that, but people who had me as referee before know how I judge and usually I never reset a whole round for officer aiming, but like I said - ask Brot. I'm out.
It's btw not the easiest decision to make, if it's a first league match with 30v30 people and the last round is played with a current score of 5-4.

Watching the stream I was at least 3 man spacing next to the line, you can even see the ranker who shot me aimed his musket directly towards me. Stream video proves this.
Especially being the last round etc. Major decisive round that us as the 79th found important.
I respect the Spartans play etc but as I said, disappointed with that final decision.
All I have to say, pushes my confidence about the league tbh the final decision was dealt with so quickly with out any other opinions of the match situation.

I can only apologize for my memebers missbehaviour - they have been punnished by thier foolishness with a demotion of ranks and they are not allowed to play in our next NWL match.

That is honestly the worst linebattle I've ever had in my 4+ years. Congratz. Its a disgrace that a regiment can bring 35 people then drop them down to I think last round was 19. Not only doing that but so easily admitting that they done it on purpose, all so they could camp, shoot and run away. I have no doubt if the map wasn't as flat as it was, we would be still playing on after mid night. Shocking. In addition they wanted Arminius to ref and he told 5pp yesterday to 1. Find a new ref and 2. Tell us. Yet what happened? They tell us 20mins before the lb was due to start TODAY and WE were forced to find a ref because they were too idiotic to do it themselves. So not only did we wait 30mins to get the match going but we had to deal with 5pp "master tactics", how am I meant to stay in such a competition when 15+ of my guys have to sit and watch (almost as bad as having to play).
I've no idea how they were selected for the 1st League and how this kind of behaviour is allowed as I'm told they are quite famous for such things.
I would like to thank crazytoes for stepping into the gap and helping us. We are a busy regiment and expect to play when events have been agreed, not playing today would have been unacceptable. So a big thanks to him for also having to ref such a pathetic match.
Very disappointing from 5pp. While they didn't break rules excessively, the overall spirit in which the line battle was played was nothing short of disgraceful.
Can we please consider having a rule implemented that states a regiment cannot drop more than, say: 20%, or six - whichever is less, of the players it originally started the line battle with and if they do, the opposing regiment is no longer obligated to match their numbers? I'm not sure if 5pp dropped their numbers maliciously, tactically or simply because their players couldn't be bothered to see the line battle through, but it absolutely ruined the spirit of the line battle and meant K-KA had to spend more time switching players in and out than we spent actually maneuvering. I believe we started the match with about 35 players on each side and by the last round 5pp had just 19 on the field, with a considerable number of their players actually present on the server sitting in spectators. It meant a lot of our players had to be swapped out to sit and watch the line battle, which is totally unfair on them, and 5pp gained an arguably unfair advantage as their style of retreating and firing volleys became proportionally more effective as the lines got smaller.
If 5pp wished to play with 19, then this proposed change doesn't affect them as they could have simply brought that number to begin with. If players simply left because they had other things to do, is it really acceptable for a regiment in the first league of NWL to bring 35 players and for almost half of them to leave the battle before its conclusion?
Refereeing the match today, I can quite honestly say, was the darkest moment of my time playing NW. I always thought this community played every LB/1vs1 in good heart and good faith. So when it comes to the sportsmanship of the match, quite clearly K-KA were the better of the two regiments. So therefore I will back the K-KA in their argument. The match overall was disgusting. For instance the last round when the 5pp ran off the the back of the map, across the river, to prevent the K-KA getting anywhere near close enough for a charge to be given. I had never seen the 5pp play before today. I can quite honestly say, I never want to be apart of their matches or play against them. Overall I think it was a disgrace.

Next you said we were constantly camping and running away. It's not true. We did shoot a lot (like 4 shoots per round! Crazy, I know.) and it was our plan to shoot you down. We expected you to be better than us in melee. We focused on shooting and maneuvering, rather than going straight into the charge.
While talking about the map, you have to remember we both agreed on this. No weird hills or anything. Some regiments forgot, that a line battle is not about melee, like groupfighting, but also shooting.
The whole referee mess caused the match to start with 25 minute delay. We thought Arminius informed you about the situation. Also it never was a problem to find a ref, even right before the match. Suddenly, every single one of scheduled refs was busy or afk, quite sad. It wasn't only you looking for him. We also did it. You were just luckier and managed to find ref first. Sadly, the guy wasn't natural in internal admin chat which boiled our blood, but it's another story. We talked about this issue with Bever. Nothing more to say. And you again moan about shooting. In my opinion you should expect some regiments to play 15 vs 15 as the rules allow this.

In the end we need to remember that its only a game and commanders are normal ppl too so they can have a worse day. I dont believe that any commander or almost any want to make shit from lb. As you realize 5pp never play like this, so yea everybody can have a worse day.

Absolutely god awful game. I suggest to the suisse that they learn the rules, Revers columing, Then halting to shoot is NOT firing out of line its using tactics that any other regiment in this league will do. Also i suggest you lean other formations other than just "Cancerous blob around the officer so he gets shot and we can ask for a reset every round". I cant wait to see your video of these rounds you are going to contest, Because trust me. I would rather have gotten 1v10'd by murphy again than watch that/play against you again.

we just had a match with this tart above me and I'd like to talk about some problems we had with that match and if me queries could be answered that would be perfect. Now I shall begin from the top:
1. My first issue with this event is that it was re-scheduled after we beat them the first time hence it was on the wrong day whereby we won 9-1. Of course the humble folk we're we were fine with this however I saw no courtesy from the losing side to even try to sympathise with us by giving us a suitable event day where we can field our absolute best but instead the 2nd from my understanding chose the worst day as possible, I don't see how it's an awkward thing to ask to one of the largest regiments in NW to choose a day which suits us even though we'd clearly have been frustrated from having to replay the match. They had been bullying and pressuring Connor for us to have our event on the monday of week two of the NWL. After Connor keeping his foot down trying to give us a little break between our matches (as designed) the 82nd brought up the Wednesday. To that Connor accepted, the match that day was quite shocking. Including several FIC, FOL, Twice Officer aimed & constant insults in chat from 82nd members. (in the past don't matter) Thankfully the match was invalid. Jones then began to arrange our next match his starting comment (not shown in the Screenshots) Was for him to DEMAND a match on the Friday telling me and not to quote but it was along the lines of Friday is the "ONLY week we can do."
I was already aware of the 82nd attempts of forcing a match day on Connor, so told them no way. (We host a event on that day so there is no way in hell we can host on that day) Anyway to try and keep this short. The process of bulling, insulting & disrespect from jones began again. This time directed towards myself (in the hope i would break) This went on for roughly 3 to 4 hours of him simply saying Friday. Pruski then was added & the convo follows. Where he was quite simply rude abusive.
Onto the next post, Im not going to throw around the FOL, FIC & Officer aim ect but by the screenshot posted. you will see that when i did call out a rule break the admin did respond. Not in a "ok notmoving *kiss kiss*" way but it was basically shut the fuck up. So i agree he was very biases towards the 2nd (JK just in case someone takes that the wrong way) Overall he was a good admin, if some what a little aggressive towards everyone.
(quickly on the point of the map) the france side. That spawned on the island the disadvantage side was the side where we won most of our rounds.
Overall, it was a good match. Yes the 2nd was a little defensive but the screen shots show we was losing BADLY when it came to the melee. Well played by both teams with a 4 - 6 win to the 2nd.
Okay so you are giving out all these excuses for your lack of performance, I can understand in a way, we want to win and if we don't we get upset, but for all your rulebreaking, (caught on recording) would you be whining if you had won, or drawn? would you still be giving excuses to lack of performance? No. Just accept a loss, there were rulebreaks throughout that were dealt with fairly. So instead of making yourself look worse just take the loss.

You guys said you guys were flexible for every matchday except Tuesdays. So we agreed on Wednesday so don't make a problem on that.
The problems were your excuses that you couldn't attend on Friday on Saturday. You guys can because you guys are online just because you have a big event running, but it shows that it's possible and you had a lot of options to play on our demanding days. Such as cancelling it.. delaying it, let someone else host the LB or lead the NWL. As you guys have 100 active out of the 293 members..
I think you should let us choose the day. While YOU FORCED us to do on a Sunday, Monday. Which are impossible for us to attend as we are not ONLINE, due to work and other real life interruptions we can't just say fuck you to our boss, teacher and go home and play this video game. This means it's impossible for us, while it's possible for you. And I think we had a decent reason to not pick for Sunday and Monday.

1. the event was fine some issues on both sides but neither team had stuff going their way.
2. i did all the negations on when the match would be played with Jones, this was a long discussion and after confirming with bever and explaining our options and we did both agree on the day and time. Just to say as well it was Jones who said 6pm gmt on Sunday.
3. The problem for not playing on that day inst that reason, we may have 150+ members but our NWL inst who ever comes its a chosen team of about 30 including CO's and NCO's and Ranker's. So if we did on either of these days we would have to chancel events and annoy a lot of more regiments.
4. Also rule 17/18 says no flaming that the 82nd didn't follow also you don't have the evidence to prove any of these points conveniently you have no evidence of any of these problems.
5. Defensive, well any battle is played to be won, we didn't brake the rules we moved after being on hills for 4 minutes.

So your admitting your ref was wrong with these new rules, I expect an apology from the ref in that case for threatening me and my guys.
In regards to the new rules the only ones that can possibly make any sense is 9.1 and 17.1.1 the rest are just plain non-nonsensical. So a ref can tell us anything whatsoever and as long as its not "yo pride your not allow to charge this round" and I have to follow it..else I'll get silly threats of slays and bans while I'm trying to lead? Is that just to cover you in situations such as these? As for 17.1.2 can you explain that? What is the point in that? If nobody is spewing nazi shit or flaming the opposition why make it against the rules? And what is the punishment? Example: A guy in my regiment says "hello 77y bob" are you going to slay him? This is pure power tripping and adds no value to the league whatsoever. With regards to the NWL matches that had difficulties finding a referee I have several suggestions:Bro said all.... :)
1. Schedule your NWL matches on days like Wednesday, Friday, Monday by doing this there is less chance of one of the referees having to be in an event of their own (obviously each regiment has it's own event timetable but from what I've seen most events happen on Tuesday Thursday and Sunday).
2. If possible try maybe organizing your match 30 mins before an event e.g. 18:30 GMT or even when an event finishes e.g. 20:00 GMT. Obviously this won't be able to suit some people however you're certainly more likely to find a ref as they will be able to referee your match and still attend their own event, it's just more appealing and not really that much of an inconvenience if you think about it.
3. Arrange with the referee a date and time 2-3 days in advance so as to ensure that if he bails on your match you'll have adequate time to find a new one. I know in certain cases dates are arranged and the referee bails at the last second, which obviously isn't the regiments fault. As a heads up to referees if you aren't going to make a match at the last minute, you should try to help the respective regiment leaders find a replacement referee.
N.B. Remember that referees are people ;) and we do make mistakes too. Sometimes we may have committed to a match without knowing something more important is happening in our own lives. I believe as long as the referee is polite, apologizes that he made an organisational error when agreeing to referee the match, and to an extent tries to remedy the situation by, perhaps, helping in finding a new referee, then the regiment leaders should be respectful to the referee.

I dont like the idea of "Extensions" because things like this just shouldnt happen. When the 18e 1v1'd the VH (or smthing like that) we had 2 refferees cancel on us on the same day. Then we had the same thing the next time we did the match even with 3 days of notice. Luckily we found a reff by then.

As i am working alot recently, For those regiment leaders that havent already added their regiments to the White List through me yet then i suggest you PM me the IN GAME NAMES. Not the steam ones. i.e 18e_Col_John_Price so i can remotely take your ID's.
Bever if you can again post this on the leaders group with a link to my FSE i would appreciate. Some people still dont respond to my requests or PM's.

If that is the case you still have people within that match that are multi reging for other NWL regiments.
Everybody knows that the 27y fields alot of double reggers yet nothing has ever been done. Personally i would refuse to fight them. I wouldn't care at all but there's alot off pretty strong players that do play with the 27y.

In my opinion it doesn't justify it anymore. Using other regiments members in order to gain a competitive advantage as there is a slight loophole in the rules. There are plenty of good players not in NWL regs such as Miquets (I spelt it wrong I know) Laurens, should I just get him to play for KKA in NWL to give us an advantage? No because that's just showing how much that I actually have faith in K-KA. If you can't fight with your own members then why even call yourself a regiment and not a clan? Just saying in the Match between the 27y and the 16e, Alesandro persuaded one of my members to join him while he was still in 5te, he played for them in the match of 5te vs 16e. And then Kazak without me knowing he was in the 27y was ready to play for us vs the Saints (A match which was postponed). All I would like to say is that 27y is a regiment which is 50% at least double reg with a lot of loopholes as to the rule of DoubeReg. I can state that NONE of the 5te members are double reggging. Whereas about 27y the whole situation is also very fishy because the "Sanic" of 27y is also in a lot of other regimental groups Such as the KKA Cavalry, and the 2nd_REE, who knows if he is helping out 2nd in NWL too ? ::)

Alright i have spoken to "Sanic/Paradox" https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198144559212/ (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198144559212/) I can insure that he has at no point taken part in any aspect of the 2nd NWL team. I have just spoken to him and asked him to decide on the regiment he wants to be part of. I do completely agree with carolusrex on what he said. I Would like to see new rules that enforce that members taking part in NWL must be souly members of that regiment & not just there for the NWL.Completely agree. Tonight guys.. It was the first match that i cancelled and give a 10-0 to a regiment. I ve ref lot of match in NWL since 2 season. I was insulted by some peoples again and again. I received many taunts during the NWL again and again.. I m not a perfect men ( and said me who is a perfect ref?). But i m a NWL'ref. If i m here it's for many reason. Because Bever and brot need help for let some peoples play competition in NW because they Trust in all NWL'Ref. We help Lot of of good people! but also some kids.
It was the first time that i saw a match of this kind.

Indeed. But 66pp has +48 rounds, you got +36. Even if the 66pp loses 0:10 they have +38, so they'll win the league without any doubt, because you have no match left to change your stats.

Both sides camped, one side got outshot and lost in melee. I'm afraid camping is part of the game and neither side can say they didn't do it :P. Good game anyway and I would like a 1v1 vs the KKA where it isn't as competitive and both sides can play normally.

It's completely unfounded for any comment to portray the 91st as a regiment of continuous camping. The 91st has always deterred camping whenever we could, and actively sought other means to continue a linebattle.
However, there are circumstances in which any competent leader will take action to reserve their men for melee or otherwise, and that is exactly what we witnessed today, from both sides.
Let me be clear: if the K-KA - who by the way, won comfortably in melee during the first rounds - thought they were secure in their winnings they would have approached us as we approached them during the first 5 rounds.
Of course, like as previously mentioned, the 91st would not besiege a hill that the K-KA were using as cover just to confidently denounce our discouragement of camping, which is what some are suggesting by apparently "not meeting half-way".
The skill of either regiment, on the other hand, is of course going to be trickier to deduce as who was better in each category. In my personal opinion, I believe that the 91st obviously outshot the K-KA. But the shooting was never long-range, and was instead a medium used decisively when the regiments were close, and as a precursor to the melee.
The 91st - excluding the first rounds because of undoubted nerves and lack of focus - were still capable in melee throughout the event and fought the K-KA many times on equal numbers that saw us defeat the K-KA.
The match was definitely not the worst I've ever experienced in terms of camping, and whoever claims that it was so unenjoyable that it reduced them to trolling is exaggerating because they lost.
Nevertheless, the K-KA were a hard fight and exalted great skill.

K-KA not KK-A
Reading through these last few pages was depressing and entertaining at the same time. I found the match to be rather dull because of how defensively BOTH regiments played, but what people need to keep in mind is that the KK-A spawned on a hill and the first thing they did upon having spawned was to fire at us from their spawn. Naturally we moved to cover - 'tis what any sensible commander would do. Had we not been fired at from the very beginning of each round (I believe it happened in all the first rounds but I might be mistaken) we might have opted for a bolder and riskier course of action but with the KK-A desperately hanging on to each and every little advantage they could squeeze out of the map we decided to follow suit. Some of us, myself included, grew rather nervous after some of the earlier close combats and with the KK-A continuing to play as they so often do we decided not to expose ourselves unnecessarily when making our way toward their lovely hill.
Had the KK-A made ANY attempts to approach us we would have met them in the field but instead we had to endure a rather tedious game of who-stops-camping-first. Once we had taken the lead we grew quite determined to win the match and we saw no reason not to do what the KK-A had done to us once we got to spawn on the hill. It's been mentioned before but neither regiment had any success shooting from long range so most of the rounds were settled at point blank range where the superior shooting and positioning from the 91st obviously played a huge role. Some time after losing 2 rounds in melee the 91st melee improved considerably (We did get a few rather comfortable wins in melee) but what won the battle was the leadership, the positioning and the shooting of the 91st.
I personally would like to test the 91st melee against that of the KK-A but until we get to fight them on an open field with no shooting allowed I see no reason not to adopt their campy tactics. I'm fairly confident that the 91st melee would prevail against the KK-A but until we get the chance to prove that I am content with having won because of superior positioning and shooting. In my opinion shooting and leadership are just as important as melee. Even more so when the melee revolves around messed up glithconets that make about as little sense as the Warband-kick. All in all it was an interesting fight. I regret that it got to be so dull at times but when your opponent has been dealt a better hand and has decided to capitalise on it, you have to make the most of what you have.

Regiment X broke the "not-allowed-to-reset-a-round-on-your-own-behalf-rule" but was given the point back afterwards. That single round made it a 5-5 LB and Nr.24 lost the title by one point. -Ouch :)

And a camping rule would be nice too. I mean, everyone wants it, why shouldn't you make one then ? We all know that shooting is a part of the game too and personally, I have a lot respect for it because it enables the leading aspect of the game and I love leading, even if I sadly never had the opportunity to lead a line (In my first reg I did sometimes while trains, but that doesn't really count in my view). Also, even if a big part of it is based on luck, it doesn't completely depends on luck, because some regiments are shooting well everytime while some others are always shit in shooting. I just think that it would help to keep the fun and the competitive aspect, if you would do something against camping. Shooting is something important for the strategy in the game as long as it's included in maneuver and that's why I think that a strict camping rule would help. People could still shoot but at least they couldn't camp anymore and we all know that camping is a strategy for these one who doesn't know other ones or are to bad to use them.

"No double regging in infantry regiments (EU) allowed. This means that if you are in a NA reg or a cavalryreg then you are exempt from this rule, unless the cavalry reg is participating in NWL."
Then that might make sense. Though this could lead to good cav players doing what some players do now, though I see those nubs as less of a threat to any decent inf player.

Camping is just quite op. It allowes you to shoot constantly from a better position, while the enemy has to find a way to out manouver you. When it comes to melee, it isn't unlikely, that the camping regiment shot twice as often. If that is the case you can't really rely on shooting skills, since a lot of it is based on luck and quantity outmatches quality. I don't know if you can say it like this, but there is also a very important psycological aspect in shooting. You just get demoralized if you constantly lose men while the enemy suffers no casualties. I would refer to the vietnam war in this case. But i don't think there can be a satifieing rule against camping. The situations where tactical position using is camping are to vague and each player might draw the line somewhere else.

Today the last NWL week starts!We have the same problem in the RGL there are still matches from week3 which have to be played :'(
I have to say I'm happy with League 2 and 3, but pretty unhappy with the Premier League. It's such disappointing to see the regiments being unable to play their matches in time. And the reason of having too much events is shit for me, it's about organisation skill, seems like several people miss it. ._.
I've been leading a big regiment myself for 2 years, everything is possible if you manage it right, but well. Seems like we can't change it. In this case this was the worst season so far in my opinion. But congrats to the smaller regiments in League 2 and 3, you did well :)

It's actually quite the opposite. The camping issue is directly connected with the NW obsession of flat maps. You can only shoot as far as you can see the enemy. If there are some small hills in the way so a line can move towards the camper in cover, everything goes fine.
I've seen more camping on flat maps than on those with (plenty) hills tbh.
When there's only 1 or 2 major hills, then of course regs will camp the sh out of it. But with many smaller hills in the center or all over the map, Regs actually use them to come closer to each other/to the camping reg in cover. Sure the "inferior" Reg will still try to camp, but if done right, the advancing Reg will come to a mid- to close-range shooting or even this lovely line-circle.

Please fix your referee system. Asign Referees. Also the Referees have to see that reffing is more important than a normal line battle. I would suggest to take no regiment leaders anymore, because they are the only ones who can't stay out of any linebattle. Moreover I would put the system of the RGL in.

Off the top of my head and by looking at the current teams only 31 would be present next season. Now count for regs like Nr12 to join say about 35. It only adds about 4 more weeks onto the current season.I would say leave it as it is. We are not rushing anywhere are we?

Off the top of my head and by looking at the current teams only 31 would be present next season. Now count for regs like Nr12 to join say about 35. It only adds about 4 more weeks onto the current season.

Surely tho 2 NWL matches a week allows for 2 seasons in a year. There's so few regs left that all the normal events are crap. I'd love 2 NWL a week :)v
