I can't to the best of my vision see where you state what rules will be used within the Battles themselves.

Cannon / Howtizer selection, Dragoon firing from horseback rules, Line infantry in formation or on the charge etc etc.
Which Siege maps will be used, will they customised, will the cannons be reduced to match the army amount yada yada yada. You get the idea.

Not that it really matters as it seems too much of each team have already been filled for us to attend.

I admit I was a little let down by there being only 2 teams, would have been nice to sign up the entirety of 3rd Division.

Now, now Grant, this is only the first edition, implying later ones. Perhaps then we can field the whole 3rd Division in all its glory.

T'would be glorious. Though I do acknowledge the original GC was far too ambitious, what was it? 5 factions?

It was mentioned in the third post that the lb rules will be stated shortly; we're currently working on them.

If there isn't a slot for you, I'd say wait until the Second Edition - we may be planning on adding more territories and having 3-4 teams if this goes well. :)

@ Grant - this is a totally reformed GC. It was simply too overwhelming due to the complicated economy system, and the conquest system. Would've been a pain to manage; we've tried to make this a bit more manageable. If we get an excess amount of applications, I may make 4 teams.

Edit: You lot have been added to the teams.

By the way,why not Make North Africa untaken for now. Seems a bit unfair if one team starts with 2 forts.

I may just remove the fort or add another. If one territory is untaken, as soon as someone attacks it - the event won't have the other team defending if that makes sense?

There could be a nice rush for Africa. If both teams arrive there at the same time they could have to fight over the map, like convert the map to battle.

Huh?  ???

I don't understand. You can fight for Africa already, it's just a matter of declaring that you're attacking one of the territories (as long as your team owns a territory adjacent to one of the African territories).

I think I'll add 1 more siege territory though to balance it out.

Just a reminder: Everyone understands that as soon as you declare a battle, the battle will take place on the next fixed campaign lb/siege date? Everyone will be expected to turn up, as if it was a normal lb event.

I doubt signups will be necessary, but I will post the server details either on the forum or PM them. Server details will always be the same.
