Confederates / 5th Arkansas Infantry Regiment [Recruiting NA]
« on: November 06, 2017, 04:28:40 am »
Information

The 5th Arkansas Infantry Regiment, is looking to
become a worthy contender for supremacy of a
honorable name. Not with the intentions of having
members just to be members, but also become
family and friends. All spots must be earned as we
are not babysitters either, we look to create the
strongest, fastest, and most feared regiment in
the dying mod of North and South. Hopefully we
can create new light, and restore former glory to
this great mod. Skills of a player don't have to be
the greatest because we will train you to become
the better you, and hopefully give you a stronger
understanding of discipline and respect for great
abilities. Respect of one person is not given, but
earned, and this also applies with ranks. No favorites
will be played because we wish to create a fair
and just environment. This regiment however, will
not be overthrown within, but minor changes will occur
according to votes of members. If you feel as if a commander
in office is not incompetent for the rank bestowed upon
him/her, the member that says that, will be able to offer a
better member for the job to challenge, or challenge him/herself
against the commander. If failed the challenger will
have to answer for the actions bestowed. No treason, or
interior conflict will be allowed, and with so both members will
be expelled and given bad reputations among the
community of North and South. Thank you for your time
to read this!

History
The 5th Arkansas Infantry Regiment was organized
on June 28, 1861, at Gainesville about 7 miles northwest of
modern-day Paragould. Men from Greene County served in Companies
C, D, E and H. The soldiers trained and camped near the springs at
Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Transferred east of the Mississippi River,
the 5th Arkansas Regiment fought with the Army of Tennessee in Mississippi,
Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina, earning the nickname
The Fighting Fifth. The casualty-depleted 5th merged with 10 other regiments
 in 1865.

History
The 4th Arkansas Infantry (August 17, 1861 – April 26, 1865) was a Confederate Army infantry regiment from the state of Arkansas during the American Civil War. The 4th Arkansas served throughout the war in the western theater, seeing action in the Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia campaigns. Following its depletion in numbers the regiment was consolidated several times with other Arkansas regiments, finally merging in 1865 into the 1st Arkansas Consolidated Mounted Rifles. Another Arkansas unit also had the designation 4th Arkansas, the 4th Regiment, Arkansas State Troops which participated in the Battle of Wilson's Creek, but was never transferred to Confederate Service. There is no connection between the two units.

3rd Arkansas State Troops

History
The 3rd Infantry, Arkansas State Troops (1861) was an Arkansas State infantry regiment that served during the American Civil War. The regiment was designated as the 2nd Infantry, Arkansas State Troops, by the State Military Board, but it was named the 3rd Arkansas by Brigadier General Nicholas Bartlett Pearce, Commander, 1st Division, Provisional Army of Arkansas. The regiment is generally referred to as the "3rd Regiment, Arkansas State Troops", or "Gratiot's Regiment" in contemporary accounts. This unit is distinguished from the 3rd Arkansas Infantry Regiment which served in the Eastern Theater of War in the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia. The unit is also distinguished from a later state organization known as Adams' 3rd Arkansas State Troops, which was organized in 1862 and participated in the Battle of Prairie Grove before being disbanded.
