About Us
We are an iron Europe regiment, made up of multiple Napoleonic wars and North and South Regiments, with the main goal to work together and to enjoy the mod! We are always willing to take more regiments small or big to help contribute to our fun levels.
Some historical information about the regiment:
The 8th Landwehr Division (8. Landwehr-Division) was a unit of the Prussian/German Army. The division was formed on January 31, 1915 out of the formerly independent 56th Landwehr Infantry Brigade, which had been dissolved on January 25, 1915. The division spent the period from its formation to early 1917 mainly involved in positional warfare in Upper Alsace, after which it occupied the trenchlines near Verdun. It remained in positional warfare in this general region until the end of the war. It participated in no major battles, but was primarily suited to quieter sectors of the line. Allied intelligence rated the division as a fourth class division, though it noted that "in the attack it did fairly well, without heavy loss." The division was disbanded in 1919 during the demobilization of the German Army after World War I.

Regimental Rules
Of course, we understand this is a game, the primary objective of any regiment is to be a fun, enjoyable place for any player of any skill to be happy! But we do require rules to function well.
1. Don't be intimidated! Get out there, join the TS, ask people if they want a game, the best way to get the most out of our regiment is to throw yourself into it! We don't bite!
2. There is no skill requirement to join us! We don't like players being left out because they feel they aren't good enough, it's nonsense! As a community, we can help you improve your game skills and have fun at the same time.
3. All players who join the 8th Landwehr must be active! This is so our training times are comfortable for all our recruits, allowing us to achieve maximum turn-out and activity
4. We do have a chain of command, the people who are high ranks have earned it, listen to them! The officers don't exist to ruin your fun, they're there to ensure we work as a regiment would! Also, ask any of them an they'll be more than happy to offer advice or support.
5. We do like banter and chat between our soldiers, but stick to the limit, immature players will not be tolerated, such as people who constantly ignore orders, or just scream and shout in events!
6. We don't have a rule about using your microphone, if you don't want to talk, don't! But be aware, for obvious reasons we can't promote people to an NCO rank if they won't talk (How can you lead without a voice?).
7. We do only accept people above the age of 13 years old. This is for a number of reasons, primarily sometimes the language of members isn't too clean! It also helps to ensure that there is at least some order of maturity in our members!
8. If you do go inactive for more than 3 weeks, without telling an officer you will be kicked from the regiment.
