Acer has some good 144hz monitors for a budget. Glad to see you guys still think about me. Currently getting all the parts for my PC/setup. Should be done within a month. I'll show you guys videos of before and after and I'll dare you again to tell me that hardware doesn't make a difference.
Hardware will make a difference but ultimately comes down to the person.
Been playing CSGO for about a year and half, during all that time I've been playing on a Macbook pro laptop with windows bootcamp, 800 x 600 res to give me 60+ fps (drops to 30 in smokes). Still manage to get global, manage about a 9 - 11 rws.
Although it did determine how I played, e.g i like to play lurker as then i dont have to run through smokes in t executes, didnt play areas with long sight lines e.g dust2 a site to long as its hard to hs players with my res lel.
Hopefully I won't scare myself too much when I play on a good setup.
Wait Gurkha ... You mean to tell me you won all those jackpots and never sold some skins for a better PC?
Never needed a good pc to play well, like I said I changed my play style to fit my circumstances.
But i want a good pc now for cs.\
What are your builds, res and fps?
Intel or amd?
i7 overkill for csgo/most common games?
you only need a i7 if you stream/video edit?
