It's people like you that don't re-enact.
It's also people like you who think it's fun to, repeatably, insult volunteer organizations that work incredibly hard, in their free time, to give re-enactors a good time. To make sure the battle is safe for the horses. To make sure we have enough firewood and water. Now, I never planned to do this, I didn't really care, I trusted you were good guys. But you started it. I said I'd ignore it, and you did it again. That's an insult to the NAN, to the volunteers, to the council and to me.
I also never claimed to be perfect. I know the errors in my impression, and I acknowledge them.
I'm also not asking anyone to buy 3-4 uniforms. I'm asking people not to claim they are historical accurate while they aren't. That honor is to people who actually work hard at it and do full-time research.
