It's the old Greek flag, I acknowledge this. However, Just cause we're a British regiment doesn't mean we have to use the British banner. By that logic, every regiment would use a total of 5 banners. If you want to get down to historical accuracy, Greece used the in-game banner for about 100 years, and during that time (like 1832) the UK supported Greece during the Greek War of Independence.
