Scots Greys

Hello,
I bought the game few days ago and I've been searching for some M&B Nap videos on YouTube and noticed that there were Scots Greys in the mod but not anymore (if am I not mistaken). What's the reason?

Scots greys were taken out after nap was released. So the person recording probably had a custom texture.

Nap came from a mod for warband called mount & musket. Scots greys were in the mod but not in nap when it came out.

Oh. Thanks, but that still doesnt answer why they were removed.

...I found a thread here with Scots Greys custom skin. Maybe it is the case after all...I will check them.

A lot of things we're removed from the game in 2012 when Nap came out. Scots Greys, France had Grenadier skirmishers, The the 95th had bayonets on their baker rifles. The Sergeants in all British troops had spontoon spears. The Captain of the 42nd had a kilt 

Many things changed but most of them for the better.

Guys...i really appreciate the informations, but why are the Scots Greys not in the game anymore? 
except for the brown horses they looked good - i dont see the point to remove them, that's why i asked...

grenadier skirmishers? you mean light infantry carabiniers?

...spontoons also sounds great. shame that theyre gone

There really isnt any reason other than balancing nations and making choices for units. The Scots Greys were simply not prioritised to the current British heavy cavalry unit and there already was another scottish unit in the nation. So again , choices were made
