2ND RHODE ISLAND
The Second Rhode Island Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment composed of volunteers from the state of Rhode Island that served with the Union Army in the American Civil War. We wore a very simple uniform. The uniform composed of a dark long blue jacket like shirt, tannish grey pants, and a black sombrero cordobes. The 2nd Rhode Island also wore havelocks in the beginning of the war, but after finding them useless we discarded them.
We were formerly known as the 7th Ohio (3 October 2015),
and the 11th Pennsylvania (21 Feburary 2016),
now we are the 2nd Rhode Island (24 April 2016).Main Events time

Virtuti Militari - the highest military decoration for heroism and courage in the face of the enemy at war.

Medal of Honor (MH) - the highest military decoration awarded for valour "in the face of the enemy"

Brevet - only be authorized to officers in the line or in case of very eminent services, only applicable for Corporal rank or above.

Rifleman Medal 1st Class (RM*) - holding Rifleman Medal 2nd Class AND get 4 shooting kills in one round; OR get 7 shooting kills in one round
