We are a New Regiment formed this March 1st 2016. We are a Realism Regiment all but the name that is. We are a regiment for 2 mods: Napoleonic Wars, War of 1812. We are a layed back and Fun unit with Fun and Cheerful Command Staff that believe in a military way when in game and doing events. If you want a Fun Layed back unit then we are the Regiment you want to join. We do have a Steam Group and We hope to get a Web Site soon if we are able.

The Voltigeurs were French military skirmish units created in 1804 by Emperor Napoleon I. They were named after their originally conceived mode of operation: although they were foot soldiers, on the battlefield they were intended to jump onto the croup of cavalry horses to advance more quickly. This proved unworkable and they were trained to be elite skirmishers, but they retained their original name. Voltigeurs formed an integral part of Grande Armée's basic building blocks, the Line and Light infantry battalions.The voltigeurs were skilled at sharpshooting and received specific training in marksmanship, using cover and taking the initiative.
