Ehhh.. It's going to be either Hoi IV or TW: Warhammer. Decisions, decisions...
HoI IV, Warhammer is more likely to come out broken.
Yea I bet Warhammer will come out with bugs as all other recent TWs. It seems that HoI IV from the livestreams and dev blogs from Paradox that it is a pretty solid state.
Looking through currently played let's plays of it. It seems surprisingly stable and solid. However, some of it's features are just silly.

Well HoI4 has been delayed about a full year so it better be stable.  What shocks me though is the marshal editon being released with a expansion pass "with a value of €50", which is more than the base game itself...and it only covers the first two expansions.

With that valuation it would seem they are leaving a good chunk of features outside of the initial release.

I really do wonder what features they are "leaving out".

HoI is the worst paradox game imo
1st NWPC S2(21st)|(1st) 5v5 Draft~NA GroupFighting Tournament  |1st♕Rex's 6v6 Tournament | 1st TNWL S2(71st) | 1st NWL S5 (58e) | 3rd place Sleeks 5v5 (Highschoole DxD)
You are by far the best average player to touch this game.

HoI3 was pretty unplayable unless you really devoted yourself to it tbh, so hes not wrong.

HoI4 looks almost like an entirely different game.

Tbh it's not. I have less than 20 hours and I understand the basic mechanics.

I'll agree that it's not as casual as the others. Once the war starts, you're intensely focused, and there are no breaks. So I'd say once you're in game you have to really devote to it.

If you're speaking in terms of learning curve though, I disagree.

Sorry, should have made myself clear. But I was referring to Warhammer there.

Dunno why you're shocked. Paradox does that with all their games-they like to split up half the features (that should really be in the base game) into smaller DLC chunks and release it over a period of 12 months. It's just greedy. I think I'll wait till next year when they've finished releasing the DLC so I can play the full game from the start.

I'm kinda wanting to pre-order because I'm a huge Paradox and strategy fan, but I think I'll hold off until launch day to see what people think about the game then decide if I get it or not.

Or maybe I'll just go pre-order today, I'll have to see.

They have already made so many livestreams, the game will launch perfectly, unless they really fuck up at the last second...
