NaS has something similar, if your officer isn't a complete idiot it won't be a problem (spyglass) and they are more of an orange red than the blood red of the UK, you'll see.

Excellent work, I assume you used An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Uniforms from 1775-1783, The American Revolutionary War as a source? I would guess Osprey as well, their books are a must have if you are researching uniforms.
Perry Miniatures have released British and Continental Army sets that have very extensive uniform guides (I did not know that the 2nd Virginia in 1776 were issued purple hunting shirts).

6th not 2nd. We haven't done anything for them.

I did not say they were or should be, all I was saying was that the guide the Perry's done was quite interesting and that was one of the things I found interesting. I will scan it in and PM it to you if you like?
