That's vertex shading, and has nothing to do with textures. I honestly have no idea on how to go around editing those, but I think there should be a way to do it in either OpenBRF or Wings.

I've been asking around, but nobody has any idea on how to do that I'm afraid.

I say, I have in my "make these skins" list this regiment, and I was wondering if I could borrow your tartan UVs for my skin. Chances are I'll make my own at some point, but I need a base to start with...

May I?

378
These skins are very nice!
Would it be possible for you to do a 37th (North Hampshire) Regiment of Foot uniform?
http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/detail_uniteBR.php?rubrique=U&unite=172&nation=1

Thats a rather dull uniform,he could probably do that just by editing some others.

Indeed. Tis a matter of renumbering the 28th skin I'm making.

379
Actually, I'll see if I can patch up the 43rd on Sunday. As of right now I'm working on 29th, which so far it's the biggest skin project I've ever done, and chances are it'll be the heaviest one of all skin packs I release.

Anyone here knows how to modify vertex shadings? I'm trying to make a colour serjeant skin, but I keep getting this problem:

Notice the right shoulder

That shadow right there's getting quite annoying, and I cant find a way to remove it ._.

Start putting these reskins into one massive spoiler. It's really annoying how large these posts are.

They're like that for a reason, man.

Great job, as always! Do you mind if I ask how progress is coming along with the KGL Light Infantry skin?

Nothing more than research, I'm afraid. I've been busy with 29th, 43rd and 28th these last few days.

Time for another release!

Turning to the side while reloading. It grates me a lot, and many newer regiments seem to be doing it. It's a cop out if you ask me.

What do you guys think about it?

As far as I know, this tactic was used even before MM. Back in BattleGrounds II, since the left arm was a perfect meat shield, we used to right face upon reloading. Chances were you would get hit in the arm, rather than the chest or stomach, thus surviving the hit.

Something tells me clan leaders now care less about looking fancy and more about staying alive. I agree.

Heh... just realized, isn't it funny that an ex-42Cdo now owns a "47th"?

The original 47th doesnt use FSE forums because the major got IP banned due to a "racist avatar"...

Yeh, Blankman's been working with me for a while now. That scroll was originally made for the 68th DLI, along with a few other things.

He's good artist. Pity that he doesn't play NW...

I love how you gentlemen simply spam the thread with "Do this regiment" posts.

Very nice skins!
I have a request:
A Swedish karoliner, light infantry, replacing the French Light infantry.
Regiment name:
Karl XII's Karoliner

Pics:
http://sv.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karoliner

That one's almost impossible to make, man. I don't have any of the resources to make it (model wise, that is). Sorry.

Can you make a 28th Regiment of Foot reskins?
http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/uniformes_uniteBR.php?uniformes=16&nation=1

Already in the list of things to do, working on it this week. In fact, if the Belle Alliance team wants them, they can have it.

Can you make a 4th (Queen's Own) Hussars Skin Place, Replace the 23rd Light Dragoon please.
