Other Games / League of Legends RCS [LoL Tourniment EUW Only for now]

The 18e Regiment is proud to bring you the League of Legends RCS.

The RCS Will consist of many regiments putting forward your team and playing in a bracket style championship to see who will become the champions!

The way this will work is similar to say the NWL etc. This will go over the space of a week hopefully, depending on how quickly people can get their matches done.

Each will be recorded by and commentated by me and other members of the community depending on who is interested.

How each game will be played

The games will be played in tourniment draft so each team will be able to ban the champions out that they do not want to see in game. Spectating is not allowed if it means that much to you then you can watch the stream on twitch.tv. This will be a knock out style tourniment until the quarter-finals where each match up will become a best of 3 style gameplay.

If you have any questions then feel free to post here or add me on steam, you will find information for my steam etc. on my signiture if you click it.

This is NOT restricted to regiments only, Anyone can apply! ITs called the regiment Championshp because it sounds cooler
Also the amount of teams that can be signed up at one time is limited to 2 per group. (you may have an A and B team.)

I am quite interested! You can respond to other peoples reply's aswell

But il go first I'l do 2 seeming as most know us as the former 83rd huehue

83rd - I actually didnt pick the name, as i was asked to make a regiment by our former Col Joe when i was in the 84e, i wanted the 79th Highlanders, but he had his heart set, and i have to say, i do miss those tags!

18e - Originally i was loving the name 15e Regiment d'Infanterie de Legere and the members wanted it too! legion is cool! But with the previous 15e having such a loved history to the Nr.24 etc. me and CrumpetAwesome decided to look for another, whenever i need historical things for regiments i ask that scrub ^^ then he showed me the 18e, and i fell in love instantly! 18e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne "Les Braves" Sexy as hell! after the former 18e merged into the 78th to make the 1stRS (RIP) I swooped in and took it instantly!

And no, no merge made us change to 18e nor did it make us change to the 79th that we had for a brief 2 weeks beforehand.

The 18e Régiment d'Infanterie is proud to host its First ever line + Cav only event. This event will occur every Friday, every week. The Event will be hosted on our server at 7.00 p.m. GMT, and will pay hold to 150 players, *Note this number will change if more regiments attend.* This event will consist off Line Infantry + Cavalry only.

Sign ups will be made on this forum, The server info will be handed out at 6 30pm GMT. Over steam. if you have any questions theen go to our teamspeak! or add me on steam! TS Ip: 37.187.88.24:9988

Administration will be done fairly by me personally without fail. allongside a few off my officers possibly.

Unit Sizes and rules

Line Infantry - minimum 10, But no maximum, aslong as you split lines at the appopriate attendance  i.e 50
- May not fire in a charge.
- Ramboing is considered If a regiment charges bellow 4 men.
- When the regiment drops to 4 they must accompany another line/regiment.
- You may not intentionally officer aim.
- May not crouch during combat.

The 18e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne was one of the units so honored. As early as the campaign of 1796-97, the 18th Line's stalwart fighting qualities were noticed by the future Emperor of the French. At that time, Napoleon allowed the regiment to place the slogan "Brave 18th, I know you: No enemy can resist you" on their flag. This distinction marked the beginning of an illustrious and tragic regimental history. The 18th Line participated in the encirclement and capitulation of Ulm on 20 October 1805 as a part of Victor Levasseur's brigade in Claude Legrand's 3rd Division, IV Corps d'Armee commanded by Marshal Nicolas Soult. On 2 December the regiment was heavily engaged on the field of Austerlitz. The 18th and 75th Line held the Pheasantry and the north part of the village of Sokolnitz, key to the French right flank, against overwhelming numbers of Russians and Austrians from the Allied Second and Third Columns. In his report, colonel Vautre of the 18th credited his regiment with "piercing the enemy columns three times", seizing five Russian flags and carrying off a like number of cannon. As a result of the 1805 campaign, the 18th Line won its first (Ulm) and second (Austerlitz) battle honors. Servers / 83rd Regiment of Foot - Siege Server [83rd_Official_Siege]

Well 83rd siege is a public siege server set up by the regiment in light of the high demand of the users of our server, wether they like the admins or just the general ping, i do not know, but if it is a popular idea, i see no reason in not allowing it. Our aim is to give a friendly, well admin'd siege server by our members and certain other members of the outside community. We welcome applications for admin's but there is NO gaurentee that you will be accepted. Players are welcome to come and join our teamspeak whilst playing the server! 37.187.88.24:9988

Please bare in mind this is a work in progress thread and will be added to on a later date.

1. Trolling of any kind with sapper will not be tolerated, Do not waste build points.

2. If the owner of a cannon dies, then 1 minute later the artillery will be free of use to anyone else.

3. Do not open the gate as a defender, doing so will result in a slay, maybe even a ban of a kind.

4. Damaging a wall as a defender will result in a immediate temp ban, that will not be tolerated.

Other rules.

1. If there is rules being broken, then take it up with an admin, by either filling on a ban request, or contacting an admin over steam, or on our teamspeak 37.187.88.24:9988

2. Do not teamkill, if it happens accidentally then say sorry.

3. Do not respond to teamhitting/teamkilling.
4. Do not insult anyone, or make any remarks towards race etc. this will result in an immediate kick/ban.

5. Only 1 recruitment message per map, anymore will result in a warning, failure to keep this rule will result in your regiment being banned from recruiting here.

6. Pretending to be someone that you are not, i.e imporsonating someone will result in a ban.

Events: EU / 18e Saturday Line Infantry Only Event! [EU]

The 18e Régiment d'Infanterie is proud to host its First ever line only event! This event will occur every Saturday, every week. The Event will be hosted on our server at 7.00 p.m. GMT, and will pay hold to 150 players, *Note this number will change if more regiments attend.* This event will consist off Line Infantry only.

Sign ups will be made on this forum, The server info will be handed out at 6 30pm GMT. Over steam. if you have any questions theen go to our teamspeak! or add me on steam! TS Ip: 37.187.88.24:9988

- No intentional teamkilling!
- No ramboing!
- Firing in charge is allowed (subject to change)
- Reloading in charge is not allowed
- No trolling!
- No abusive behavior!
- No spamming!
- Listen and Do as the admins tell you!

Rules and unit sizes

Line Infantry - minimum 10 maximum 50 (2 lines please.)

- Ramboing is considered If a regiment charges bellow 4 men.
- When the regiment drops to 4 they must accompany another line/regiment.
- You may not intentionally officer aim.
- May not crouch during combat.

The 83rd Regiment Of Foot is a regiment based in EU, We are a very disciplined regiment and have the goal of becoming one of the best regiments around! We are a friendly regiment with a fair number of highly experienced officers who are always recruiting! Think this is the regiment for you? Join here!

You may asked how we got the nickname "The Endless" it is not historically accurate, our historical one was "The Stickies"... But! Our Lt: Sterius came up with it because we could be fighting the entire french team of 100 and still have men to carry on the fight even after the rest have failed, and during melee fights, our numbers do not decrease, they increase! Kill one of us, and 2 more will arrise! The Endless!

History

_{The 83rd was raised in 1793 by William Fitch, their colonel, in and around Dublin, for service in the French Revolutionary Wars.
 
Their first service was overseas, seeing action and garrison duty in the West Indies between 1795 and 1798. Following this they were returned to Europe, and fought under Wellington in the Peninsular campaign. In this they saw action at Talavera, Busaco, Badajoz and Salamanca. In 1815 they again served under Wellington in the Waterloo campaign, which saw the final defeat of Napoleon.
 
The 83rd was stationed in Canada from 1834 to 1843. During this time the 83rd was posted in Halifax 1834 through 1837, Quebec 1837, Montreal 1837, Kingston 1838 through 1843, and Quebec 1843. During this period the 83rd supplied detachments to London, St Thomas, and Amherstburg. The primary role of the 83rd while in Lower and Upper Canada was to maintain order during the Rebellion of 1837, and to repel invaders from the United States. A key engagement with rebels and invaders took place at the Battle of the Windmill 1838.
 
In the post-war colonial period the 83rd were stationed in India, and were engaged in the Sepoy rebellion of 1857.}

Lieutenant:
You are mature,responsible and a good leader. You will lead lines from time to time
Ensign:
You have shown maturity and responsibility. Primarily you are here to learn the ways of an Officer.
 
Non-Commissioned Officers:
Serjeant-Major:
Your job as a Sergeant Major is to make sure all the men are happy and all orders are obeyed to the letter! May lead trainings.
Colour Serjeant:
As A Colour Sergeant your job is to make sure the line is in order and to make sure the officers are alive! You may be given a flag to carry
Serjeant:
As a Sergeant your job is to keep discipline, encourage the men and show how a good man fights!
Corporal:
You have excepted your orders and set a good example! You must now show your worth in a fight and help enforce orders given by your Commanding Officer
Lance Corporal:
Being a Lance Corporal shows you have proven yourself to be a responsible and skilled soldier. Now set an example for the other Enlists!
 
Enlisted:
Guard:
You have made it too the top of the enlists! you must how your amazing melee to get to this point!
Regular:
The Officers have noticed your hard work, keep it up and you will make Non-Commissioned Officer in no time!
Private:
As a Private you are encouraged to attend events as much as you can, doing so will quickly earn you promotion.
Recruit:
You have just joined the regiment, now impress us! doing so will fire you up the ranks.
