the DA strikes again

2nd Division which included the 8th Virginia, the 5th Georgia and a few others seperated from the Dixieland Army,
happened about 2-3 years ago from now due to some unfortunate disputes regarding command, rules and regiments.
I don't think a reunion would come any time soon. It was pretty much permanent.

I have no bad blood with any of the guys I played with in the DA. I worked with them for years. The 2ndDiv was simply a way to cut the red tape we always had a distaste for. I would have no problem working with any of those folks again, in a system similar, but revamped. I especially would have no issue working with Irish. We worked together well for years until the end, and would have no issue with working with or under him again.

I started this regiment with 3 other officers on February 16, 2015. We attended events actively in the North and South community for 4 years reaching upwards of 50 attendance during events. Our steam group still has over 380 members. I would like to reserve the name once more and declare my regiment's player base's interest in partaking in events within this game. I will make this post fancy with more recruiting information in the near future.

I was wondering when you would finally post this. I can hereby confirm the stated above is true. The rights to the name have officially transferred over to Lopez and Change. The only edit I would make is that the regiment has never disbanded, it only went inactive due to Nas temporarily fizzing out and becoming dead. The 8thVA has been continuously an active regiment since it’s founding on February 16th 2015, and has seen the likes of 6 Colonels now. Fearsome, Wubby, Foxy, MrMan, Lopez, and now Change.
