NEWS
As the 1st Michigan has grown in size over the course of the last few weeks/events we have decided that we will be creating a secondary company that will be enlisted as a Lights Company. This company will become active and apart of the 1st MIVS once we are happy with the steady 10+ attendance to our weekly events. We’ve had our weekly attendance increase within the Sharps regiment and wish create this company once we are ensured that an attendance of 10+ members for the sharps is secured.
*We are looking for new recruits that are willing to join our second company playing most likely Lights/skirmishers however if attendance is low in either company we may have to switch roles*

We have finally completed a full command structure, with all Officer and NCO positions filled with our best, most experience and loyal Men. Now that the command structure is complete we plan to hold on with promotions for now due to all necessary positions filled and move a head to perfect our system, with more regular training sessions and such. We strive to become better at what we do and look to perfect our two company system to become the most effective in battle.
We are still looking for new fresh recruits, no matter how much experience, we wish for loyal and keen players to join in on what the 1st Michigan Sharpshooters do best and strive to one of the best.

Regimental News Update
Another 1st Michigan News Update, I have updated the roster and placed it on the front page, this will be updated every month to keep all active members noted and any inactive members placed on a separate roster. I have also begun to assign people from the 1stMIVS into either company A - Sharpshooters or company B - Line/skrims. This roster is a work in progress and ill place it on the forum once i have added most of the regiment in either companies.
I have also cleaned up the forum page putting any old information or images in a spoiler tab to save confusion, if you wish to look at the information just click the spoiler button.

I just wanted to say, thanks to everyone who has help us get this far. We've only been around for half a year and we've out lived a lot of peoples expectations. when i first started the 1st MIVS 6 months ago with a couple of close friends we didn't suspect much and now we have reach this big and successful in the course of only a few months. We will continue and will succeed.
A big thank you to the DA for helping us in the early weeks of the 1st Michigan Vol Sharpshooters and a big thanks to the UB for helping us grow and become what we are today.
Finally, to all the members of the 1st MIVS thanks for playing alot and creating the moment that non of us will forget and putting our name on the map

I am glad to announce that the 1st Michigan Vol Sharpshooters are running efficiently and we as the officers of the 1stMIVS are proud to say we are reaching our high expectations. I am proud to announce that the Union Brigade has grown over the years and finally we are able to evolve into our next stages. Museal announced the Union Brigades EU and NA brigades early this week and as of last night Museal has gain a well deserved promotion of Major General.
As of now, I am now commanding Brigadier General of the EU Irish Brigade, a historical and well decorated brigade, that i have the honour to lead.

We will be hosting an 2 hour event on Sunday 26/06/16 @ 4pm - 6pm, with an array of different games, kinda similar to our last anniversary event. The 1st hour will be open to the public then the 2nd hour will be a locked event for UB and DA members and others with invites.

Next Saturday - 25/06/2016 will be the OFFICIAL 1 year anniversary of the 1st Michigan Volunteer Sharpshooters.

Regimental News Update
This is just a quick update, since its been a rather long time since the last. I can gladly say we have grown once again and doing exceptionally well in our events, I am happy to say thank you for all our members that have been recruiting and attending our events. Recently we have been able to do our two companies again, due to our increase in numbers we are able to provide our members with both a 10+ man sharpshooter experience and a 6+ line company for those more bloodthirsty and want to stab peeps *cough* Gosh mate *cough*.
Both companies are doing very well and i just wanted to give a few members props:
Subhuman, Benny, Raz, Dried, Gost Mate, Red, Irish
and many more, everyone has done amazing and hope we can keep this ball rolling.
