Well, this is a funny co-incidence... Or more like an awkward one...

My Habite veste which will be arriving next week! :D

Nice! what are you missing still then for your kit?  :D

Btw, Something weird with that picture I noticed, might be me ofc...
Its the bottom, I dont think it is supposed to have this straight white line in the bottom..
When I look at other habites I dont recognise that.

Outside of that looks pretty cool!

I'm missing gaiters, backpack and musket for kit atm, currently aiming to get a musket over the summer :D

Not sure what that white line is, maybe she's lifted the bottom over a little bit showing the white inside, I dunno, guess I'll find out when I get it.

Vince and I were doing a Sutler-check on uniforms and, awkwardly enough, we found this uniform to be a no-no.

Basically, the entire bottom part of this uniform is very much different from originals.

Been doing a project with my M1 Helmet, I recently discovered that my helmet I got from surplus store is indeed a WW2 shell. The liner is some plastic NATO shit. So I just bought a complete late war production liner from J Murray Helmets also chinstrap, going to replace the liner and get rid of the post war chinstrap. The challenge would  be sewing the thick webbing chinstrap together. Oh boy.

But before i do all that crap, I also ordered OD spray paint from him too since my helmet is in some kind of khaki shit. Not sure if I should remove the paint or paint over it. Don't want to loose that grainy feel.

A local collector offered me an original double bag knapsack last week. I decides to decline and
Got him with another friend of mine who is into originals.
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

Back from 150th Resaca. Was on original ground

At Sutler row, I had a chat with Dirty a Billy and bought a nice knit wool cap, wooden pipe, coverlet, and period bottle filled with birch beer. I also got corp badge in metal pin for my unit. Will be posting my impression later.

It looked odd. Very odd.
