That sutler came highly from my friend. Been told that there will be american vendor selling Corp Sutler stuff at a Reenactor Fest event.  About time I get some Napoleonic uniform and hopefully some nice ww2 gears. Would be interesting to greet my civil war unit in a wehrmacht uniform....

Hmm, they seem very appealing. Are they worth it, and how much was shipping?

You should check Shakos GBL, it's a new one-man company of a Dutch re-enactor

Edit: fixed the link.
I got my cavarly cartridge box from him. It's pretty good and affordable, though you have to be okay with some unhistorical fabrication (machinemade).

My next buy is going to be for a Poilu impression.
I'm going to by an Adrian Helmet, a French uniform, and a Lebel Rifle

That Lebel is going to cost you well into $1,000... at least. My Lebel, which is in a pretty good condition, cost me $1,000.

You just send him a message on that page and he (or his wife) will reply. Payment and such are done 'officially' and you get the paperwork. Not that you should have anything to fear, I know the guy and his wife personally and they are great people.

May wanna check with your group though. His backpacks are the 1801 model, and the 21e carries the 1812 model (Remember, the one that was never made  :P). Some groups prefer uniformity to accuracy. Also check that you get all the strings, like the two capote-straps (Unless you already got those) and then there's a big strap that goes all-over the middle, though I've seen people without it. Probably because it only has real use keeping your dinner plate on your back (Still, looks very campaignish)  :P
