179TH MAMELUKE BEDOUIN BASHI BAZOOK CAMEL RIDERS

Formed in 37 AD the  179th Mameluke Bedouin Bashi Bazook Camel Riders served as Jesus Christ's personal bodyguards at the battle of Marengo. Their history is long and storied. In 1415 the Bashi Bazook's camel gunners held the line against repeated French attacks at Agincourt famously leading Henry V to exclaim 'لإنجلترا' . Perhaps the most famous battle the 179th were involved in however was Waterloo were led by Marshal Ney they broke the English Squares and Sultan Abdullah III personally slayed the Duke of Wellington in single combat. From humble origins the troopers of the 179th are hand picked from Jailbreak and trained incessantly to represent the Turkish Steppe land. We have a wide range of roles available from the storied Camel Gunners to Regimental Camp Followers (crumpy). Our regimental nickname given to us by the Prophet Jesus himself are the '72 Virgins'.

The Hundred Years War, the high water mark in Anglo-Frankish conflicts. Welcome to the mod page for the upcoming hundred years war mod. The Hundred Years War scenario offers many new opportunities for mount and blade as the period saw rapid improvements in weaponry. Along with weapons such as Billhooks, Claymores and of course the awesome power of the longbow there are newer powerful yet highly inaccurate arquebus' and cannons. Along with the later medieval states of England and France, nations such as Spain and Portugal who fought wars highly influenced by their northern neighbors struggles will be included on the map in case you long for a more Hispanic setting .

Many reputations were forged in the expeditions and folly's in Aquitaine, Burgundy and the Ile De France, ranging from The Black Prince Edward III to Joan of Arc and the mod will feature these historical figures as prominent lords and generals.
