I started playing the series with "Fire&Sword" and I liked playing Mount&Musket some months before NW released but I didn't quite understand how mods work so after some reinstalling I couldn't figure how to start the mod again...then I went back to Fire&Sword, even though I remember the Chat being so racist and political that I was always a bit repelled.
Then NW released and I was happy to play something like MM again. Bought it on release date, played on NW_Official_EU1 (at least I think it was, not 100% sure, but it was my favourite server) and got recruited by Nr59's best recruiter back then 2 days later.
I still know that I lied about my age XD I thought 12 was a bit too young so I said 13 or 14. But looking back, it feels like most people were about that age lol. The guy who recruited me told me he was just 12, so I quickly corrected myself, feeling a bit better.
I also still play with people who were there when I joined the regiment from time to time. Many of my members have been friends of mine for multiple years now.
The rest is material for hundreds of pages of gaming history! In a few months, I will have my 10 year anniversary in the regiment.

NW: I was playing on a siege server and some guy from the 1st Kazachstan recruited me into their regiment despite me being an annoying 10 year old at the time with the shittiest mic ever.
NaS: I was playing on a random server and Major General Reznov recruited me into the 19thLV, I could barely speak any English at that point and since he was Dutch I found it easy to conversate with him about the mod, he invited me into his regiment, he also helped me with melee training on a weekly basis. This was my first ever regiment experience.
45thN: I started as a merc for like a single event and soon after I was forcibly drafted into their offical ranks. I'm still part of their Lights company even tho I barely ever attend events with them, I strangely gain pride from being in their Lights tho because all the other companies suck, even tho I have no clue how I even ended up in this situation.

Bought the game in 2013 after seeing the 77y siege videos. Young me realized they were EU and I couldn't play with them. 3 years later I met a dude on twitch who I became friends with. A few months later, he saw I had the game and recruited me to his NaS group. Played that for a bit and moved to holdfast when it launched. Did that for 9 months then switched to NW.

Then we had a lot of switching with teammates, by making our own regiments and shit since the community was growing. In late 2012, 41stSBR people (which were considered as strongest Russian regiment on license version for many years) came on a cracked version to have fun and rekt noobs (us), it that happened, that all of them were super good in melee, in 1v1, and in shooting so they were actually farming every regiment apart from VL (Ankord's regiment). Cause of them, I got to know that there was something like a license version for which I should pay and it had a different master-server (lol). And so in 2013, many biggest regiments (with 20-30~ attendance) from cracked version moved to license version (Saints, 30th, 42nd, VL), and one of our regiment guys (I was in 42nd I believe) gave me a key of NW, so when he's not there I could play it (looool), by playing sometimes on a groupfighting server, Beorning contacted me to join Team RUS-UA for upcoming NWEC, then Shos or Xomas added me to join 41stSBR. I played one or half of a year for 41stSBR and then had a lot of breaks and was coming back only for National Cups, Beorning was messaging me each year anyway, there were some years which I didn't play even a match but was in a roster I believe. In 2016 I came back fully to a game, HooK (he was in 41stSBR and in early national teams with me) contacted me on Groupfighting Server and proposed to join my first ever groupfighting team FruitNinjas, then Miloradovich (Alice) which was in FruitNinjas forced me to play for 17thJR and so on I keep playing in this community with little breaks. Saw PixelatedApollo's vid, bought the game, joined 63e, a week later went on bot survival and got recruited into the USMC. The rest is history as they say :oLmao I saw a Pixie video for NW and joined the CTA and there was a regiment in the CTA and I started going to linebattles.
Played warband in 2014. Totally forgot about it afterwards then decided to get NW in late 2017 got recruited off of BBG bot survival into the 15e shortly after. I was 100% late to the party and I'm still sad about it. Now I play BCoF like its my job.
