The regiment is also known as the Leib Gvardii Kazachiy Polk; in the russian language.
Who are we? The Leib Gvardii Kazazchiy Polk is a regiment that partipicated in 2013,
we have been here since March, when we have renamed a lot and when we
have fought bravely and tried to conquer the battlefields of the Napoleonic Wars.
Now we've improved a lot!
We're both line & Cavalry, with a very small artillery detachment.
The Kazachiy Polk spends a lot of time in working out the discipline in trainings.
We like to kill with our muskets & bayonets, and march into the battlefields and
slaughter our enemys. We may not be the best, on the battlefields we give ourselfs
everything to win. Often we go play with our members on groupfighting servers.
All members are one equilateral.
Discipline is the most important thing in our
regiment, without it we would be slaughtered
in every single battle. And then there wouldn't be fun
in our regiment. We are a historical accurate regiment.
With realistic orders, realistic ranks and with a realistic behavior.
We like to play it serious, on that way we have it fun.
We also require our members to behave as adults, and
not as kids screaming down their microphones; on that
way they will lose their talk power.
Having skills is not necessary, as long you know how to stab or fire a musket without problems
you're good, you can't learn melee or shooting in trainings, by that you would have to be
interested in this game. If you aren't then you don't belong in any regiments.
The Kazachiy does not force anyone to come to a event but, we do expect members to
atleast come by their self; so we can trust our members.
We describe ourselves as a respected regiment,
a disciplined, and mature regiment.
What do we expect?
We are a community of player that enjoy playing games together, not just Napoleonic wars, so feel free to stay after linebattles and have a chat. We want make a nice warm welcome to those that are new to the regiment/ community so please be nice.
We all, of course, have to try and be social so if you do see someone new in the teamspeak, then give 'em a welcoming into the community.
Remember to treat eachothers as equals, with respect, otherwise you may find an unpleasant suprise visit from an admin, and we don't want that to happen now, do we?
There are only a fair few that have a slight bit of authority than others, these are here to keep order within the community so that it doesn't all fall apart. These are the admins, do what they say nothing bad happens... Simples.
Our regiment i fairly active roughly estimating 15 - 20 active every event. We expect that if you do join the regiment you turn up to every event, if you don't then please do have a reasonable excuse.
We are not a bunch of brainless hillbilly's charging cattle... no we are smart individuals when it comes to linebattles, choosing the best times to engage and using terrain to our favour. We educate those who have no experience in leading to utilise the battlefield in their favour to win us glorious linebattles.
Our officers and NCO's prefer to keep it "cool" in the regiment. This means no chitter chatter while the officers are giving orders. If you wish to speak then say "PTS" and wait for the officer to accept your request. If they deny it do not cry it just means they have a bundle of orders to give.
We consider disciplined to be an attribute of our regiment. Meaning people do what they are told without question and are extremely patient when it comes to training and linebattles. The discipline of the regiment is not just for the hell of it or just to annoy you. But it is to make sure that the majority of us have fun
and get the job done in linenbattles. The officers really do appreciate our full concentration on the linebattle and that can only be achieved by our discipline being top "notch".
An example of being disciplined is basically not teamkilling at the start of a linebattle or ramboing (doing your own thing) in a line battle. This gives the regiment a bad reputation as well as spoiling the fun for others.
So, we need to work together as a team and not troll... or an action may have to be made.
In our regiment we don't throw ranks away. We want to keep it fair in the regiment giving everyone an equal chance of ranking up in the regiment, however there will be ones that work harder for a promotion than others.  | | As part of the four squadrons (3 1 Don and the Black Sea ), the regiment took part in the Patriotic War (1st Western Army , I Cavalry Corps Lieutenant General F. Uvarov ) .
June 12 the regiment took part in the first battle with the French at the crossing on the river. Neman . After Napoleon crossing the Niemen Life Cossacks cover the retreat of our army , and from 14 to 23 July fought without interruption from the advancing French avant-garde . July 15 at the Battle of Vitebsk Regiment captured French battery : " Life Cossacks first went several times to the attack. In one of them the choicest Don Cossacks swooped down on the battery , which stood near Napoleon and produced such anxiety around him that he stopped for a while their actions . "
Life Cossacks fought with valor in the 2- day battle of Smolensk and Valutina grief.
August 26th regiment distinguished himself in the battle of Borodino , participating in a swift attack Platov and Uvarov on the left flank of the French. During the retreat of the army to Moscow Life Cossacks were in the rear Platov and repeatedly stopped the onslaught of the enemy. 2 September 3rd squadron of the regiment , cut off from the rearguard joined the squad gene . Vincengerode which covered the way to St. Petersburg . The squadron was with c. Orlov-Denisov , stayed in the main army and participated in the battles of Tarutino , Maroyaroslavtse , Viazma have Liakhova and Red . At the end of December 1812 the regiment joined together and placed in the vicinity of Vilna.
After the arrival of the Emperor Alexander I was the Imperial Regiment convoy and accompanied the Emperor in all the campaigns and battles of 1813-1814 .
May 8, 1813 at the Battle of Bautzen one of eksadronov was appointed squad c. Orlov-Denisov and made several attacks .
October 4, 1813 - the regiment distinguished himself in the battle of Leipzig , the attack on the French cuirassiers Latour Maubourg than rescued from captivity of Emperor Alexander I and was rescued by Russian Guards light cavalry to attack the enemy on the march and not had time to build. Awarded the George and the standard of the silver trumpets.
March 13, 1814 - At the Battle of Fere - Champenoise hundred Guards regiment composed of easy - Cavalry Division broke into the rear of the advancing troops Mortier and Marmont Vorefrua the village , forcing the enemy to retreat , and then participated in a battle with the French cavalry at the village and attacked Lenar quads and Mortier Marmont at altitudes Lint . March 19, 1814 the regiment triumphantly entered Paris and bivouacked on the Champs Elysees . Cossacks regiment accompanied Napoleon on Elba.
