Welcome to the 8th Moscow Grenadier Regiment of the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. We are an experienced Regiment of well trained international members who have fought valiantly in many linebattles during the last 10 months. Our aim is to give our members the best Napoleonic Wars experience possible and we therefore drill them twice a week and teach them the values of disciplin and honour. As Grenadiers, the elite of the common line infantry, our goal is to break the enemie forces through disciplined voleys and skilled use of the bayonet in meele combat.
Disciplin and honour are very important talents when joining the ranks of the Grenadiers and we will not tolerate trolling, flamming or any other kind of offensive behavior among the members and to members of other Regiments and players in general and will be punished with an exclusion from the regiment.
Furthermore we demand of our members to respect the culture and political opinion of other members in the regiment due to the fact that people from many countries of the world have joined our ranks to take up arms with us.
During combat or training we demand silence and disciplin from our members and to obey and respect orders given to them in order to make the game more enjoyable and more effective.
Our training will give every player the opportunity to acquire the knowledge of the many tactics and formations, but most importantly training will increase their skills with the bayonett and the musket which are required to be an effective regiment.
Our regiment is part of the 1.Coalition Army and allianze of several regiments, including the 2nd Hessian, the 3rd Brandenburgische Infantrie and the 6th Royal Artillarie.
Since our first day we have been an international Regiment and have made great experiences despite the occasional time problems.
We accept applicants from every nation in the world if they are willing to accept the difficulties of an interntional regiment. They will be rewarded for their loyality with an amazing time in an amazing group of players.

The Regiment was originally raised in 1804 by the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin Frederick Francis I who later, after Napoleon won the battle of Austerlitz joined the coalition of the Rhine till 1812 when he was the first to abandon the “Empereur”.
Alongside with his new allies the Prussians and the Russians he fought in the war of the sixth coalition against the armies of the French empire and therefore also supported the russian army with troops of his own. One of the regiments who was chosen to fight for the Russian army was the
8th Grenadiers Regiment which became the honour to bear the name of their Duke in their name.
Alongside with the Russian army the 8th Moscow Grenadiers fought in countless battles and proved theire loyality to the Russian allies.
