Welcome to our page! We are the French 57e Ligne d'infanterie, le Terrible! We hope to become a force to be reckoned with, and we need YOU to help us strike fear into the hearts of our enemies!
We are also part of the UG (Union Gaming) which is a loose group of allies, that all play together on our servers. We all take part in private line battles every Tuesday night at around 8 p.m. Eastern and Friday night about 9 p.m. Eastern. We are all a bunch of great people and we promise you a ton of laughs, fun, and some intense battles We have been successfully running Line Battles months before Napoleonic Wars came out, and will continue to do so!
Line Battles are hosted on our official UG servers!
Union_Gaming can be used by any UG regiment or public players for general play during the week. On Tues/Fri it is used for Linebattles.

A few rules for both our regiment and the UG:
1. Follow the orders of your Officers!
2. No team-killing, griefing, trolling, or any other derogatory behavior.
3. Do not abuse your power over lower ranks! We are here to have fun, not put others down!
4. ALWAYS be respectful of other regiments and DO NOT retaliate if being griefed, trolled, etc.

We keep a sharp eye on our members and promote based on how well they perform in combat and what they can bring to the regiment and the UG.

A brief history:
Napoleon reigned as Emperor of France from 1804-1815 and among his legions stood the 57e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne "Les Terribles". They fought in many battles during the Napoleonic Wars and were considered the elite of the French Army. Napoleon impressed by the regiments actions on the battlefield said: "The Terrible 57th which nothing can stop." The words were then added to their flag, yet the Directory ordered such inscriptions removed. But still the regiment was known among the French army as "les Terribles" due to their fierce stance on the battlefield.
