What is a skirmishing unit?As a skirmisher unit we train in marksmanship and melee just like any other line unit would, however, we can use tactics such as spreading out and using cover. In this unit you will learn how to work as a team, move as a team, and shoot as a team. If you're interested in sniping officers, hiding in trees, crouching then skirmishing might be worth checking out.

Ranks of the Guinness Green JacketsRANK AND FILE[GGJ]Pvt_Private. Our Privates are recruits, they're still learning marksmanship, melee, movements and the art of skirmishing.
[GGJ]Rfm_Rifleman. The majority of the unit, Rifleman are proficient marksman, they are capable of sword and rifle melee combat, they can move in a skirmishing unit and are good skirmishers.
[GGJ]Bugler_Bugler. The Bugler is a Rifleman who has decided to not only be proficient with the rifle but also with the bugle, playing tunes for the unit in battle and during training.
[GGJ]Chosen_Chosen man. The Chosen man is a member of the unit who has shown good leadership and excels at everything he does. The Chosen man is on his way to become an NCO.
NON-COMISSIONED OFFICER[GGJ]Cpl_Corporal. The Corporal is a leader with some authority. The Corporal is an NCO and if someone is breaking the rules he should take action, warning and reporting the incident.
[GGJ]CplB_Corporal Bugler. The Corporal Bugler is a Corporal who is also proficient with the bugle and has proved himself.
[GGJ]Sjt_Serjeant. The Serjeant is good leader, he has shown good leadership qualities and helps command the linebattle by making sure the movements are correct, and that everyone is doing their job correctly. Can apply to become an Ensign if he wants to attempt to become an Officer.
[GGJ]SjtB_Serjeant Bugler. The Segeant Bugler is a Serjeant who is also proficient with the bugle and has proved himself on the field of battle playing tunes and being responsible. Can apply to become an Ensign if he wants to become an Officer.
[GGJ]CSM_The Company Serjeant Major is a good leader, he has shown excellent leadership qualities and is in charge of all the ranks below him. In a linebattle he will watch not only the squad movements but also the actions of the NCO's. He has authority over everyone, the Company Serjeant Major is the highest a member of the GGJ can go without becoming an Officer.
OFFICER[GGJ]Ens_Ensign. An ensign is being trained and tested to be an Officer, this is a pass/fail position. If he doesn't meet the standards of an Officer he will become a Sjt again.
[GGJ]2Lt_A 2nd Lieutenant is a new Officer who is new to the position. He is learning, he is responsible in a linebattle if there are no other Officers. A 2nd Lieutenant will learn how to position and utilize skirmishers under his command.
[GGJ]Lt_A Lieutenant is an experience Officer who has experience leading skirmishers in linebattles. He knows how to move and uitilize the skirmishers under his command.
[GGJ]Cpt_Captain. The Captain is in charge of the company, what he says goes. He is in charge of everything, in a linebattle, he may lead or assist another Officer.
