33rd Regiment of Foot's Website (Join Here)

33rd Regiment of Foot's Teamspeak server:94.23.31.23

We are a British Line Infantry Regiment that has expanded into different companies such as line, light infantry and artillery. Our aim is to create a regiment that will provide a professional but enjoyable Napoleonic Wars experience for all kinds of players. Our goal is to triumph over our enemies through discipline, skill and determination. We also aim to be a disciplined regiment however this should interfere with us having fun. A high level of discipline will lead to improved trainings which in turn will lead to more enjoyable linebattles through an increase of performance and skill in the field.

We have accepted and still continue to accept members of all nationalities and have prided ourselves in having one of the most incredibly diverse roster of different nationalities in the community, with the only requirements that you speak and understand English to about an intermediate degree and the ability to meet and attend the training and event days.

The 33rd focuses on training and developing different skill sets required to be a successful and effective regiment on the battlefield such as various formation, melee and shooting and this reflects this in our regular regimental company trainings and battlefield proven tactics, but not our application process. No one will ever be denied enlistment due poor skills, lack of experience or shown little to no improvement; all we want from you three things activity, maturity and respect for fellow regiment members and other members of the community. Among our ranks we have some of the talented and most experienced players in the game who hand down their insightful knowledge of the game to the newest of recruits, who too will soon follow to become seasoned veterans of the game.

English is the universal language spoken in the regiment and is used for orders during events and trainings, but we are a very friendly and international regiment. We have a very large player base and our members come from all over Europe, to ensure our members are playing at their best in EU servers. We host promotions and demotions that happen very regularly, if a member shows a high degree of loyalty and maturity as well as a understanding of regimental tactics you will be promoted to a NCO rank. From here you will gain responsibility for maintaining formation. Also upon being promoted to NCO rank you will begin to be further taught your role and regimental tactics in a more advanced format. If you continue to show that you posses leadership skills and are growing at a respectable rate you will be potentially given a higher NCO position and possibly an officer role.

We pride ourselves in being one of the most professional and organised regiments in the community, we carefully keep track of our members and maintain an up to date regiment roster. Any inactive players among our ranks are removed from the regiment within a month, so our roster always features active members thus shows our actual numbers.

If you are interested in joining us, post a recruitment application on our website and wait for a response.

For any further information or enquires please come to our teamspeak and ask for Leonidas, Bobmalog  or Gurkha!

Accepting players now!

We are the 120th 'West Devon' Rifles; a Rifle regiment based on the light infantry/skirmisher ethos used by the Rifles and other Light Infantry besides, which marks out the individual for achievements, and where individuals each play their part among a team of fine marksmen and sharpshooters.

For anyone that considers themselves rifleman material, or who are simply tired of shooting volleys at one another in broad lines, then this is certainly the regiment for you!

A group of sociable and friendly individuals who train hard, fight hard, and laugh hard.

Interested in joining?

Simply add McScottish on Steam, click on the picture above, and away you go.

We have our own dedicated TeamSpeak and Warband Server and are growing fast, so what are you waiting for?

Loyal Lusitanian Legion looking for NA players!
« Reply #648 on: June 19, 2013, 09:16:52 pm »
Loyal Lusitanian Legion
Leal Legião Lusitana
A North-American Light Infantry/Artillery Regiment for Napoleonic Wars
A Legion Fusilier,
1808-1811.

History of the Legion
The Loyal Lusitanian Legion (Leal Legião Lusitana in Portuguese)(LLL) was a foreign volunteer corps that served in the British Army from July of 1808 to its disbandment in May of 1811. It was formed from Portuguese émigrés (or, expatriates) in England, that fought in the Peninsular War. The Loyal Lusitanian Legion was created by the initiative of Portuguese Army colonels José Maria Moura and Carlos Frederico Lecor, who were exiled in England after the French occupation of Portugal, and the Portuguese Ambassador in London, Chevalier de Sousa, with the support of the British Government. The Loyal Lusitanian Legion received the title of "Loyal" to distinguish itself from the much larger Portuguese Legion, mobilized at the same time with the best units and officers of the disbanded Portuguese Army by direct order of Napoleon and which would fight for him in the several European campaigns. Interestingly enough, the Loyal Lusitanian Legion included not only Portuguese, but native British soldiers, and even some Germans as well. The Legion was organized in Plymouth, England in July of 1808 and landed in Oporto, Portugal in September of the same year. Between 1808 and 1811, as part of the Anglo-Portuguese Army, the Loyal Lusitanian Legion fought against the Napoleonic Imperial Armies, both in Portugal and in Spain. It was present in the battles of Busaco and Talavera, but was especially used to conduct raids and other irregular operations in the rear of the French Army, framing Portuguese and Spanish militia forces. The Loyal Lusitanian Legion was disbanded in May of 1811, after being transferred to the Portuguese Army, where it was turned into three battalions of Caçadores, this time Portuguese only.

Originially, the Loyal Lusitanian Legion was formed into two light infantry battalions, dressed in the same green color of the rifle regiments in the British army (mainly so they could be distinguished as a light infantry regiment), even more so, green was the livery colour of the Portuguese Royal House of Braganza, to whom the Legion remained loyal. Each battalion consisted of around one-thousand soldiers and officers formed into ten companies each. Accompanying these battalions, a small six-gun artillery battery, consisting of eighty artillerists and officers to follow and provide support for the far larger one-thousand man battalions. And, of course, what good is a regiment without a massive commanding staff?

Ranks
We are to create a regiment as accurate as possible to it's actual ancestor. With that said, the roster consists of the light infantry and the artillery ranks accordingly. However, seperate in-game companies will not be made until such an attendance insists on such. We will fight as one!

Oficiais Superiores, Senior Officers
Capitão, Captain (Capitão)
Tenente, Lieutenant (Tenente)
Alferes, Ensign (Alferes)

          Oficiais Subalternos, Lesser Officers
Primiero-Sargento, First Sergeant (P-Sgt)
Segundo-Sargento, Staff Sergeant (S-Sgt)
Artilharia-Sargento, Artillery Sergeant (A-Sgt)

          Soldados Alistados, Enlisted Soldiers
Cabo, Corporal (Cabo)
Caçador, Experienced Soldier (Caz)
Artilheiro, Artillerist (Arto)
Fuzileiro, Regular Soldier (Fuz)
Conscrito, Recruit (Conscript)

                        4e Grenadiers

Welcome there, soldier!
The 4e Grenadiers is currently looking for new members, willing to fight for the emperor! Are you one of those? Then sign up today!

Topic

www.4e.enjin.com/recruitment

What does the 4e Grenadiers offer you?
The 4e Grenadiers is an active regiment, with alot of friendly players willing to fight & play with other team members. We currently have 6/7 events a week, and around 30-40 active members to offer you a great 'battle-feeling' ! We've an EU and NA company to make sure everyone can enjoy the 4e Grenadiers!

What can I expect when I joined the 4e Grenadiers?
You can expect you to be more than welcome in the team, and already get invited to events on your first day in!

Events? What is that?
The 4e Grenadiers takes part of alot of events. Such as siege events, linebattles, conquest. And ofcourse we've our own trainings!

Linebattle - In a linebattle the goal is the eliminate the enemy team, once you died you won't respawn. The 4e Grenadiers is a grenadier regiment, so we expect our men to be high disciplined, and in a good ''melee-skill condition'' because we'll often be at the front line preparing for a glorious charge!
Siege - In a siege event, one team has to defend a base and the other has to attack. We'll often work in 2 battallions in a siege event, and the commander will appoint both battallions what to do, this is a more 'less-disciplined' event. But ofcourse we dont expect you to joke around!
Conquest - A conquest is the best event to get some real war feeling! Once you died, you'll respawn in several seconds. We expect you to listen very carefully since the event is often really big, and yeah.. We want to win!
Training - At training we train our soldiers in formations, melee or shooting. After the training we've a ceremony where people will get promoted.

What does the 4e Grenadiers require from you?
The 4e Grenadiers doesn't 'require' anything in a strict form from you but we do recommend some;
- You are a mature person
- You've the time to play with an active team
- You don't troll
- You're actually interested in playing events
- You wanna join a regiment, and you've interest in the theme
- You've teamspeak 3

But... I'm not good enough to join!
No! The 4e Grenadiers has trained alot of people, and we saw alot of them going into a succesfull time in the game. You can never be 'too bad' to join a regiment!

                 Vive l'Empereur!

Signed by,

Colonel Lannes Mack,
4e Grenadiers, 1st Battallion

Lannes Mack

Proudly commanded the 4e Grenadiers for two and a halve years

******************************************************************************************************************
Founded in the 10th of April 2012, after the release of Mount&Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars, as the 42nd Regiment of Foot - the Black Watch from veterans from the Mount&Musket mod of Warband, choosing to represent the most senior and - arguably - most famous Highland Regiment. The Regiment has since gone through the rocks and weathered many storms, nearly crashing and coming to an end once or twice, however through comradeship and common sense of "play for fun" the Regiment has come out the better through it's trials. With a sense of historical appreciation and immersion, we can structure our Regiment through the use of historically accurate Ranks and formations. Now, while we realise it is only a game the history and appreciation of the historical 42nd and modern Black Watch is never far away.

As far as we're aware, we are one of the few Regiments to actually create and use it's own program, made and coded by it's own member, for the use of Attendances. We also play using custom re-skinned texture models for the ingame 42nd, which gives the unit a much more seen-battle feel, while giving the Officers kilts.

Now the Regiment is a strong, solid unit which boasts good attendance and performances at Events and Linebattles. The 42nd prides itself of a sense of friendship and community, being much more than a Regiment we present ourselves as a gaming community which, infact, play 90% of game-time outside of Warband. While discipline and structure is used during Training, Events and Linebattles we still retain an ethos of banter and relaxation in TeamSpeak and within the community in general.

Event Schedule
      Monday - Linebattle 7pm GMT
Wednesday -  Training 6pm GMT & Linebattle 7pm GMT
Saturday - Training 6pm GMT & Linebattle 7pm GMT
Sunday - Linebattle - 7pm GMT

In addition to the above, we often have "Mod Nights" and other dedicated gaming sessions.

Royal Scots Badge

History of the 1st Royal Scots!

he Royal Scots is the oldest Regiment of the Line in the British Army. The official raising of the regiment was in 1633 when Sir John Hepburn, under a warrant given by King Charles I, recruited 1200 men in Scotland to fight in France. Their first Battle Honour was Tangier 1680 since when a further 148 have been gained in a history which has involved them in almost every campaign in which the British Army has fought, including Marlborough's battles, the Peninsular War, Waterloo, India, the Crimea and South Africa.During World War I, the Regiment increased to a total of 35 battalions. Seventy nine Battle Honours and 6 VC's were awarded and battalions fought in all areas from the Western Front to Gallipoli, Palestine, Egypt and briefly Northern Russia. At the start of World War II, the 1st Battalion was part of the BEF and after suffering heavy casualties covering the retreat to Dunkirk, many were taken prisoner; whilst the 2nd Battalion bore the brunt of the Japanese attack on Hong Kong.Battalions also fought in Burma, Italy and NW Europe. In post war years, they have seen active service in Korea, Cyprus, Egypt, Aden and the Gulf.

The Regiment recruits its soldiers from Edinburgh, the Lothians and the former county of Peeblesshire. The Regimental tartan is Hunting Stuart which is worn by all ranks except Pipers who wear the Sovereign's personal tartan, Royal Stuart, an honour granted by King George V to mark the tercentenary of the Regiment in 1933.

Are you looking to get in on events In Napoleonic Wars
If you said, “YES, that’s me!” Well then, read on my friend.

I've found that Line Battles and Sieges for Napoleonic Wars are both very fun and challenging. In addition, the game offers a highly competitive opportunity and a large community to play with and against.

The 1st Royal Green Jackets is a group of gamers that enjoy a mature environment with veteran leadership (all Officers have been with the Regiment for at least six months). With this solid foundation, we’re able to offer events DAILY. Our leaders work to provide a atmosphere of mutual respect that produces a great gaming environment.

A few perks of the regiment:

-We have our own Private Teamspeak.

-We have two regimental run severs: a 50 Man TDM (very popular) and a 200 man Siege with multiple custom RGJ maps by EYEBALLSHOT.

-There are many opportunities to rank up in the 1st Royal Green Jackets, including, but not limited to skill, how active you are, and being a good teammate.

By the way, did I say we have DAILY events? WE DO! Yes, as a respectable and active North American and Napoleonic Wars regiment we attend various events with other regiments within the community. Attendance is not mandatory, we just ask you partake in the events that you enjoy (this is a game after all).

Furthermore, as a group of friendly gamers we also come together to play other games outside of NW like Total war, Planet Side, Star Wars(Old Repulic), Arma 2, and many others.

In closing, we are an open community that offers a chance to come together in participating in the many adventures that, not only Napoleonic Wars provides, but many other games as well!

I hope you found this helpful and take us into consideration!

If you would like to join the 1st Royal Green Jackets, please add any of the following on steam and let them know! Thanks!

44th page, nice! Anyway, I'm looking for NA based active players for the 44th. Send me a PM via forums or find me on steam (Menelaos16), I'm in need of able, active players who wish to be part of the founding. I'm looking for NCO's on a company level, being that you will get plenty of chances to command when I'm bored.

The 23e Regiment d' Infanterie Legere are recruiting all North Americans. We are a voltgieur regiment that does 5 events a week including a Saturday Siege and a in addition to our 3 linebattles. There are large amounts of ranks open right now and we are looking for experienced fighters in both melee and shooting. In linebattles we currently use skirmishers and line infantry. In addition to these we also use artillery and cavalry. Also, you don't have to worry about fitting in or trying to be a different person, we are a "chill" regiment that likes to hang back and have fun playing games such as Rising Storm, Total War, and mods for Warband. If anyone would like to join simply add me on steam at "CluelessWill".If you have any questions our steam group should have answers, you can find it on steam at 23e Regiment d'Infanterie Legere. Thank you and I hope to see on the battlefield.   8)

North American player or European player? Age?
