Futuristic Rank Icons

Hello

Are here people familiar with making rank icons? If not, is there someone who could tell me how to make them? I have photoshop and I'm willing to learn quickly and effective.

It's for a new Futuristic Clan I'm making. Not for NW. Some sort of advanced soldiers like in CoD AW & IW.

Some individuals tend to make rank icons on Paint.net as well as Photoshop.

Honestly MS Paint work on a 16x16 pixel and you can make whatever you want, and it doesn't even look bad
