I think those who abused gifs have either been banned or left the forums. I mean if you can trust us to have a shoutout box again, I don't see any reason why we can have gifs back.

Also never noticed lagged when we had gifs (with my slow internet), even so I think the 100 page thread cap would have helped out that issue anyway.
