Rules:

General

Spoiler

• Regiment’s Leader(s) will be held responsible for their Regiment’s actions
• Bad behavior will not be tolerated, if you are excessively cursing, acting childish, spamming chat, or anything else undesirable you will be banned from the server.
• No ramboing.
• Fire on the charge is allowed, however you must carry out the charge and cannot reload until your unit has returned to formation.
• If a unit does not meet the minimum threshold of men, then they are no longer considered a unit and MUST merge into another line or defend the artillery. (Except for artillery, who may continue to fire.)
• Team killing and/or wounding is strictly prohibited, if it was an accident then apologize so everyone can move on. Stand with your line like disciplined soldiers
• Do not delay the inevitable defeat, stand and fight if you are one of the final.
• Everyone taking part in the night’s event must be wearing their respective regiment tags, or else they will be removed from the server.
• Regiment leaders must be in teamspeak at 7:30 EST for organization.
• If you have an issue that requires an administrator, please steam message them or contact them in teamspeak.
• No musketoons or rockets.
• If any unit is attacked regardless of its numbers it may defend itself.
• Units must have cohesion when charging, but are permitted to spread out while doing so.
  
• Only One reset will be permitted per round for round altering issues only.
  
• A typical event will consist of 2 best of 3 maps (first to 2). It will be about one hour long.  All charges, as well as a lower number of rounds, may be issued if the event is dragging on.
  
• If there are enough players for special units, they will be chosen at 7:30 every week. We will try our best to give every interested regiment a chance at specials, and as such will not have reservations of any sort.
• Administrators/Organizers have final say on all matters and may edit rules if they feel it necessary.

Line Infantry

Spoiler

• Attendance: 5 men - ∞
• 3 Man minimum for lines during rounds (if members die/disconnect).
• Units may have no more than one half man spacing.
• Must fire in formation.
• Lines may only crouch when they are forming double ranks, or out of combat and not reloading.
  
• Lines under 10 men may have 1 attached rifleman. Lines 10 and over may have 2. (Man count is the total number in line)

Rifles

• Attendance: 5 men - 16 men
• Minimum of 3 men to act as an independent squad.
• May crouch as they please.
• Rifles are permitted to have up to 5 man spacing, and may utilize cover so long as they are following their other rules.
• May move out in a blob formation.

Light Infantry

• Attendance: 5 men - 18 men
• Minimum of 3 men to act as a unit.
• May be used interchangeably with skirmishers unless numbers exceed the maximum for skirmishers.
• Light Infantry must move out in a line.
• Light Infantry are permitted up to 3 man spacing, in a semi-line formation. They may also utilize cover, so long as they are following the prior rules.

Cavalry

• Attendance: 5 men - 16 men
• Minimum of 3 to remain a mounted unit.
• Must move out together with some sort of cohesion.
• If the number of mounted men falls below 3, all cavalry must dismount. (If they are currently charging they may carry out the charge on horseback.)
• Unmounted cavalry is considered light infantry, and may follow the rules as such.
• May only fire while stationary and together (some spacing is allowed but 3 horses max) or on a charge (must carry out the charge).

Artillery

• Attendance: 5 men - 20 men (artillery guard included)
• Permitted up to 2 canons and 1 howitzer.
• Permitted up to 2 sappers for the construction of defenses. (Who will be allotted 150 build points.)
• Artillery guard can act as light infantry and is not required to be in formation so long as they are near the artillery position.
