My best story is that in one of my first line battles, in which I was still figuring out all of the controls, I was presenting and was told to stop doing so by a certain commanding officer. Instead I aimed at his head and continued aiming. At this he became annoyed, stood right in front of me a ordered me to go ahead and shoot him. Well, who am I to disobey a direct order? Soooo... I shot him, much to the enjoyment of everyone, except him. At least he got me to start obeying his orders right?

My favorite recent story was when my regiment went cav for an event. On one particular round, we engaged the enemy cavalry. Pretty soon I was the only one up. Long story made short, I ended up dehorsing every single one except one, and then I ran back to our artillery, dismounted, and fought back the swordsmen charge.

I have a few stories the first of which I will tell the now.

It was the 32nd Sunday event (double ranks) we had between 10-14 men, I was a Corporal at the time. We were attacked by enemy cav, before we could get into anti-cav formation. Each man died one by one, with few of the enemy even touched. Until it came to the last 3 of us, all being Corporals proceeded to kill each and every enemy cav left so about 8 or so. So the Cap at the time came up with new anti- cav technique, "send the corporals in!"
