Off Topic / I've Started Streaming

So I've just started streaming again on a new channel. I'll mostly stream random games I think and it's just for fun. I'm only advertising here because I'd like to have people to chat to while I stream as a new streamer you usually get 5 or less people watching with either none or very little interaction from viewers. Which is what I'd like to achieve anyways here's the link come check it out if you want to or don't it's up to you.

About Us

The Izmailovsky Lieb-Gvardii regiment seeks to strike a balance between enjoyment on one hand and seriousness on the other.
We are looking for new players and grizzled veterans alike. Above all, our aim is to provide a friendly and supportive environment in which we can give our members the best possible experience.

Regimental History

Izmailovsky Regiment was one of the oldest regiments of the Russian imperial army, a subdivision of the 1st Guards Infantry Division of the Imperial Russian Guard. It was formed in Moscow on 22nd September 1730. The first commander of the regiment was appointed Adjutant general Count Karl Gustav von Löwenwolde. After him, only members of the Imperial family were chiefs of the regiment. On March 17th the regiment was renamed to Lifeguard His Imperial Highness Konstantin Pavlovich regiment and then on May 28th of the same year to Lifeguard His Imperial Highness Nikolai Pavlovich regiment. The original name was returned in 1801. Battle of Borodino Regiment became famous after battle of Borodino when it was put to main reserve together with Litovsky Lieb-Guards regiment. On Kutuzov's orders, Izmailovsky and Litovksy were both sent to the left flank of the battlefield. During their advancing march they were caught under heavy artillery fire but this didn't stop their advancing for even for a moment. In full order Izmailovsky regiment reached enemy's left flank and took over their positions under continuous artillery fire. Seeing this, Napoleon decided to send his Cavalry Corps (Latour-Mobourg and Nansouty), also known as Iron men, on Izmailovsky and Litovsky regiment in order to cut off their advancement from the left flank towards french main forces in the middle. On the first site it looked as if the French were getting batter of Izmailovsky and Napoleon was quoted saying: "Ils y vont, ils y vont!".as the Russians saw french cavalry they formed squire. The Iron men and french artillery were not nearly enough to stop Izmailovsky guard. French cavalry reformed and attacked three times before pulling back. Izmailovsky then continued their advancement towards victory. As a result, Izmailovsky lost 4 officers and 176 soldiers while 13 officers and 528 soldiers were wounded during the battle.

I found this website which shows a lot of numbers don't know how accurate they are but it doesn't seem like they have pulled all the numbers out of their asses.

For example according to their numbers we have about 39 years left before we run out of oil.

Looking for someone who can make an intro for our regimental videos. Nothing too special, here's some guidelines
-79th Regiment of Foot "Cameron Highlanders"
-Some sort of background with highlanders, preferably the 79th.
-Have some fitting tune / song in it and must last 9-15 seconds.

Breed to fight, breed to survive. Blodskam started out as a rumour, spreading through villages: tales of men fornicating with remnants of their own blood, spawning warriors without fear, nor hunger. In reality they started out as nothing more than fiends, bandits, deserters and scoundrels. Children of nomads. Seeking shelter from the skin-piercing cold. Generation by generation they started to dwindle, the last light of humanity began to fade and laws twisted to please. Soon enough someone would share a bed with their own.. A lowly thief, nothing more than a pig snatcher. Caught redhanded, the man searched through the back of his mind finding nothing more than lies. He muttered words of bloodline and ravens, everyone interpreted it as words from a madman. Dragged head first into the cold - throat cut and ribs cracked to look like an eagle, although he resembled a raven. Died a defiler, morned like a martyr. They spared his daughter, still carrying the seed of her father. An abomination was born, lacking both fear and hunger. Thus the tribe Blodskam was born. Men birthed from tainted blood, but for them every sister and brother are all equal in the eyes of the raven, bound by the same blood and flesh that ties them together.

Så min vän skickar mig konstiga/roliga historier i bland tänkte dela några om jag hittar dem fick i allafall den här idag.


Dagen började som vanligt. Frukost på bordet, frun i köket. Jag har länge vetat att denna dag skulle komma - inte så här fort. Jag avslutar min frukost och slappade till frugan på skinkan, hon skrek till med ett erotiskt skratt. "Jag har det fortfarande" viskade jag för mig själv. Snart 50 och har en fru som snart är 28. Istället för att packa ner min lunch så återgår jag till mitt sovrum. Jag hukar mig ner, känner lederna knaka. Jag drar ut en mörkbrun trälåda. Lådan skiner av all träolja. Jag tar ett djupt andetag och förbereder mig.
I lådan så ligger en stilig glittrig fedora, en rebellisk trenchcoat, finger lösa handskar.

Rather successful topic over on Taleworlds so I thought we could bring it over here. So what have you been playing recently?

I've been playing a lot of Marvel Heroes in the past few days it's a diablo like hack & slash game but with Marvel characters it's pretty fun.
It's fun because I like hack & slash games but mostly because I'm a Superhero fan & mmo fanatic.

About

The Spartan Conquest of the Weak is an EU melee based tournament in which regiments can compete for the prize and top place
in the contest. It aims to provide a fair and balanced environment in which the best players of multiple regiments
can compete for first place!

Rules

I. Teams are to contain 2 players.

II. Teams are allowed to have 2 persons fighting at any given time.

In-Game Rules

III. No shooting.

IV. Only line infantry models are to be used.

V. Only rankers are to be used.

VI. Only bayonets are to be used

VII. The Combatants are not to leave the arena until the fight is over.

General Rules

VIII. No whining or crying about losing rounds & no arguing about ref decisions.

IX. No trash talking or discrimination.
