AC 2. My opinion it's still the best, followed by brotherhood and AC3.

ACIII is great, but whoever is their historical guide is an idiot. I constantly see the regimental numbers "42" and "92"

Probably watched a few movies and just put it on the packs and couldn't be bothered to add more than two regs.

Great game. But a few complaits  think everyone can agree with
  • Better horse gameplay
  • More realistic load time and free aiming.
  • Improved fast travel

The only time I saw the 92nd one we're in
Spoiler
the section were Haytham was in the redcoat dress

and I did some research on this and saw there was a regiment named the 92nd light something something and that section takes place in 1755 I think. So about 5 years before they we're formed. Pretty good for a mainstream game :p

As for where I think the series will go next, ahem...
Spoiler
I hope that, since the story with Desmond is over (I presume) that they'll follow the comic about Daniel Cross and his ancestor in the russian revolution.

So, no joke, my brother was hired by Ubisoft to be the lead writer for the next Assassin's Creed.

That is pretty badass.

Anyway, my good friends, I love Assassin's Creed, and what little I've seen/played of AC3 was amazing.

But Ubisoft has let me down. Everytime I launch AC3, it'll open UPlay and all that, then when I click "Play" it'll launch the game window, then automatically crash. My computer is compatible, my graphics are up to date, and I've tried the verification of game cache files.

Could anyone help with this?

I also have another interesting bit on the matter. One day, my internet was out, and I decided to try and launch AC3. When I clicked play, it opened and I played the first several missions, but once internet was back up the next day, I then could not open it. It's really weird, and frankly frustrating, as I want to indulge and enjoy the game I preordered and paid for and have anticipated for so long. It's a real let down, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately not. It doesn't give one, just opens the window then crashes.

Actually, it seems Ubisoft's crap DRM is fighting you, if it let you play offline.... I wonder how you could fix that... might get back to you on that one.

I played very AC so far. And they are most definitely the games I watch for every time :) I enjoyed the story of AC3 a lot, although the ending was rather frustrating. Can't wait t see how Ubisoft will continue the series.
