Hello all!
I have advertised this among the members of the 5th Georgia and within our own thread on FSE (
https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=22368.0 ), but I don't think it has gained the amount of visibility it should. I figure, considering the amount of history buffs on here, some people would be interested in this! Below is a link to a folder in my Dropbox containing all of the information I have been able to gain on the 5th Georgia thus far, except for the War Dep't. records, which I have yet to download, organize, and, where needed, transcribe.
Which leads me to the second point; I would very much like some help in the downloading, organizing, and transcription process. There are two sections in particular, besides the War Dep't records, which contain massive amounts of information and would be an arduous and taxing process for only one man. These are the Civil War Diary document in Internet Threads and Similar Items folder and the Charles Womack letters in the Co. G Schley County>Letters folder.
I also am always on the hunt for more information. If anybody has anything they have found either on the internet or within print copies of books they own, please contact me as well!
