Like seriously though if you join the server and consent to a map with a big hill without an intention to use it then you deserve to fucking loose. You can't then complain about it afterwards. Also considering Rommel camped literally every 1v1 while in command of the 72nd its a little rich to then start whining about it.
Like Pieter said, it usually is about mutual respect but it could also be said that they are respecting your skill by not allowing you to melee them so easily. You cant always get what you want.
I should know, Daddy never bought me the Wolfenstein games because aaaaapparantly they were for older kids.... Well fuck you dad I was 3 years old and I deserved to be treated better!!!!!
On an actually serious note though, if you want actually fun 1v1's where regiments shouldnt camp, then do casual 1v1's against them (12pp and Nr55/8th/2nd/electricbogaloo excluded), regiment leaders especially take these tournaments seriously so you can't go into every match with an expectation, regiments play differently depending on the circumstances.

15th is better and deserved the win, no other way to see this^^
and I know how rommel leads the 72nd in 1vs1 against regs who are better in melee, but as far as I know, during friendly 1v1 we always try to get into close combat with the enemy to see who is better in melee and close combat leading
