About

The 12ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is a French infantry regiment made for Napoleonic Wars. We're looking for players who have a desire to play the game for fun, while at the same time observing a reverence for discipline and self-control. The 12e is a regiment focused on the skilled use of a bayonet to counter our opponents on the battlefield in addition to quick maneuvers in formation to aid in gaining the upper hand over the enemy team, which explains the need for discipline within the regiment.

Notable Engagements Austerlitz, 1805 Eylau and Friedland, 1807 Borodino, 1812 Hambourg and Dresden, 1813 Waterloo, 1815

Officiers and Sous-Officiers Capitaine - Leader of the regiment. Lieutenant - Assists the Capitaine in all his duties. Sous Lieutenant - Company officer. Adjudant - A sub-officer, has miscellaneous duties. Sergent Major - Chief NCO, ensures discipline throughout the line. Sergent - Company NCO, assists the Sergent Chef. Hommes de Troupe Caporal Fourrier de Premiere - Most elite player in the regiment; held by only one person. Caporal Fourrier - Members receive this rank after reaching a notable level of combat skill. Caporal - One of the more skilled players in the regiment, this person has proven themselves as able fighters. Soldat de Première - A player holding this rank has shown an improvement in his combat skill. Soldat Deuxième - After attending several events, members receive this rank. Soldat - Entry-level rank. Attached duties. Premier porte Aigle - Eagle bearer; identified as pA. Tambour - Regimental drummer. Aide de Camp - Regimental book keeper; identified as AdC. [close]
