For future references can we have a list of what both representatives did. I didn't really see a lot.

Actually. Didn't see anything. Miekkal or however you say it did fak all. Asked him if he could do something got a reply "on it". Clearly failed no updates. Plus thread ops can't moderate their own threads still.

Junedragon did a ton, the NA1 line battle began because of his efforts.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure in the first event that people couldn't even get in since it was full.

It was a great initiative. If they can keep it up with the attendance. It surely worked out well.

Perhaps something like that can be arranged on the EU side too?

That's definitely something we can look into. Especially with the upcoming sales. (That's at least if I'm not mistaken, I do thought to have read somewhere about upcoming steam sales)

Spring sales maybe?
Just looked it up, next sales are the summer-sales which would be around mid June.
So that's about 6 weeks from now.

We don't really have the player base to start something like that off. We've tried getting EU1 populated again during sales etc multiple times but people simply don't stay. They'd rather be playing on the custom maps provided by other servers which have stable populations.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be willing to give it a shot, but I think we'd be starting from a more difficult position to our NA counterparts. Whoever wins, if you do want to try something like that, feel free to message me about it.

And it's a ton of fun. Partizani lbs, naval battles etc.

[/quote]yea, near the end of the lb we had about that many.  and that is with 4 decent sized groups not being there.(and afaik after talking to them, they are still interested in going.  they just forgot or couldnt make it.)  the biggest issue is getting people there on time.
Should you need to talk to me regarding NA1 or or something regarding admining or the admins, PM me here on the forums and not on steam.  *

I'm confident that we can get the same results on the EU side as long as the people organizing it are motivated to keep it going. Communication is also key, so it is important that the organizors would communicate with the european regimental leaders to ask what they would like to see at an event, and what they think their members would like to do.

And regarding populating the official EU server, I think that you guys could get in touch with some of the large server owners (NWPublic, 59th, 15th, 77y, etc etc) to see what they think would be good to do to increase playercount on the EU server. Perhaps even putting some custom scripts on? (E.g naval battle, zombies etc)

It would still be a regular linebattle, no zombies or anything. There are limits to what I'd attempt do/can do. I still don't have full access to the server box, so it's vanilla NW from that point of view, just linebattling for the public players.
I can't really see any of the major EU servers helping, I mean it would be counterproductive for them. We'd need active EU regs to get involved for numbers, and probably lots of them.

Anyway, we're getting ahead of ourselves. We'll see who wins this, and they can take this as an idea and run with it, see if there's any interest from EU regs. If not, it's not realistic.
