Just started watching anime more often again.
Watched Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans season 1 and the first 5 eps of 2 in 1 go yesterday. Thats the most I have binged in over a year it was really worth it. Anyone like me that just can't get into the genre or just cant go back to the old Gundam series then I highly recommend this. Own story and its fantastic.
Watched Yamada kun and the 7 witches today that was a good choice. Fuck studio Liden and that ending tho -_-
I have yet to fully watch Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, but only because I have been waiting for MSG: The Origin to be uploaded online in it's entirety. Based off of the manga of the same name, in an adaptation of the source material. That's great to hear IBO was worth it for you. If the old animation is putting you off, perhaps The Origin would be more appealing for the back story of the original Gundam series. Or did you mean another Gundam series in the franchise you can't go back to?
In a nutshell though, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin upload is complete today, Nov. 19th after premiering in theaters in Japan. All four episodes of the OVA and in total about 4 hours long in a non episodic, theatrical release format. With more volumes to come next year(s).
http://kissanime.to/Anime/Mobile-Suit-Gundam-The-OriginI've been playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam games (recently the Reborn title) and that stirred my interest to watch the series of shows/movies from the beginning.
Definitely one of my favorite of an anime franchise.
