Roberts threw away the series in Games 2. Hill could have taken that game deeper, saving the relievers, probably winning that game. Wood could have gone a lot deeper into Game 4, too. I got the sense that whole series that the Dodgers were the better team, but Roberts had no clue what he was doing. He was too busy making moves and doing all the fun manager stuff to think about whether he was going to improve his team's chances to win by doing so. Meanwhile, Hinch was brilliant.
