what happened
« on: August 25, 2016, 07:41:20 am »
i leave the community, when its quite lively, every event (more than one event on at a time) never fails to max out the 200 population cap, afk's needing to be kicked to make room for players who are going to be active. the chats in lb's arent filled with twelvies

that was about 10-12 months ago, i played another lb yesterday and the event was the only one in the list of servers at that time and barely made 100 players. and the chat seemed like a bunch of parents were making their kids play the game.

who, what, when, where, why and how

Mount & Blade: Warband turned 6 years old. We should be glad it's not dead yet.

Welcome back, though. Nipplestockings needs a good spanking.

M&B and especially NW is dead, deal with it
Can I just say that I’m really impressed with the cav community, 10x more mature than the inf community and a lot less tolerant of the cancerous players

Nah, it's just playing with Nr. 6 that gives you this impression.

Mount & Blade series went on sale for 75% off again. However of course Napoleonic Wars community is ever on a down crawl to eventuality.

Hello.. I have a problem... It says I don't have Mount&Blade Warband: Napoleonic War and I have to buy it
Try joining a regular Napoleonic Wars server and then re-running the installer.

dude this game is old as fuck and 90% of the community got burnt out within 3 years, and now everyone left is only playing because they have nothing else to do.

Isn't this usually the fact with games?

Population is still okay (except for the fact that a huge chunk of it is in only two regiments) but the only good LB events are the 63e friday ones

Everything else is FOC trash or just badly moderated, so yeah i also remember a year+ ago before i took my break how many good events that were held.
nah windflower just tries to act cultured and edgy but hes actually just a 21yo lonely canadian who wastes all his time serving donuts to fat american tourists and trying to date underaged video game girls

It's a multiplayer game and the linebattles have mostly kept the same format for 2-3 years (rules have changed) with occasionally some hosters deciding to try something new (and exciting?). People slowly get bored with the old types on LB's and IMO there aren't enough hosters that try something new which would keep people interested. Also there haven't been any large mod releases (based on NW) during the last year that would have gotten people to reinstall the game and try NW again.
