Introduction of the 4e Régiment de Grenadiers à pied de la Garde Impériale
The 4e Grenadiers Garde Impériale was created on the 22nd May 2017 from a merger between the NW clans 5te Lützowsches Freikorps and Four-Two Gaming. Made up of a well rounded and welcoming community, we strive to continue the legacy of both regiments in to Holdfast: Nations At War. FTG and 5teFKI have a long history together since NW came out, the leadership going back even before Mount & Musket. It all started in Battlegrounds 2, a Revolutionary War Source mod.
FTG
FTG, or 42 Commando as it was known back then, was created in September 2010 as a Battlegrounds 2 clan. At it's height it was among the most active and influential clans in BG2, this is also where Johann and Skill met, leaders of the 5teFKI and FTG respectively. 42Cdo would continue to be a big player in the BG2 community until April 2012 when a lot of members, including Johann, left to form a MM regiment called the Royal Scots. However that same year in December 42Cdo moved to NW as the Royal Marines.
Royal Marines would be renamed to Four-Two Gaming and took a more laid-back and relaxed stance at NW and started branching out to various diffrent games. Four-Two Gaming has played NW on and off since then until today.
5teFKI
The 5te Lützowsches Freikorps was founded in late November 2012 by Johann and a handful of ex-42Cdo and Royal Scots friends. It would differ from the Royal Scots by striving to create a more disciplined and mature regiment. It would continue to join events almost on a daily basis until January 2015 when it collapsed due to drama for the first time. However in March that same year it would be reformed until collapsing yet again in May. Several smaller regiments would form out of it's remains when once again in early 2016 it was reformed. The 5teFKI have been semi active on NW from then until today.
