Write about how the 84e made the seige gamemode in MM mainstream. 84e_NW_Siege was huge back in the day.

Just want to add as a point of accuracy, it was the 51st and 84e who made siege popular. The 51st generally had a full server and the 84e had anyone that couldn't fit in the server. However, as the game was still pretty poorly optimized, occasionally players would DC with servers being at 200 players for too long. That made people leave for the 84e server, then they would lose some and people would come back to the 51st server etc. IIRC the two regiments tried to help each other out when it came to server stability, although I don't remember the details of it. The 51st was the first popular siege server though.

Damn I forgot how long ago the first gf tourney was. Good times! There was some drama from what I remember, but it was pretty silly.
