Welcome to the forum thread of the Cavalry Napoleonic Wars League!

Hello Cavalry Community!

We are happy to be able to announce the re-launch of the cavalry napoleonic wars league! I know that some of you are probably gonna be a bit split when it comes to this because the last one turned out extremly un-organized! And we do take full responsibility for the league collapse a while ago! To explain a bit further about what happend the last time, both administrators who was organizing it thought we had the sufficient amount of time in order to go ahead with the idea. We did not have the sufficient amount of free-time to commit ourselves during an extensive amount of time. This time we have decided to re-launch it: mainly because we know we will have the time it takes to make this successful! I do believe that the general concept is really good and that this is something that the cavalry community has been lacking! All credits for the original idea should ofc be given to the NWL. We have got an split new organization in the league and an website made exclusively for usage in the league! This will make the league more clear than ever before and the regular fixtures will be viewable from there, as will the league table! We want this league to be just as successful as the NWL of the infantry and as competitive! We see this as an excellent opportunity for regiments to do regular 1vs1:s every week which actually are one of the most "funniest" parts of the NW-gaming. We hope that you will give us another chance to prove that we are indeed capable of hosting large events. We will also announce the "top scorer" of the tournament (BEST K/D Ratio over certain amount of matches.).

This is the draw of the first week randomized via Challonge, website shall be updated tonight or tomorrow as latest with the relevant information needed. Please talk to the opponent and decide an date, once an date and time has been decided you will post the day in this thread and also time.. Remember that Sundays are not gonna be eligable matchdays as that will be the day when the draw for the next week will be released, every update is done on sunday's.

Rules

§1: Only hussars, heavy cav and dragoons are allowed.
§1.1: You cant change your class, once you chose it.
§2: Regiments only.
§2.1: No invites allowed.
§2.2: Multiregimental people can only fight for one regiment in the CNWL
§3: No shooting.
§3.1: No wallhugging
§4: Only one officer and one flagbearer per regiment.
§4.1: No musicians allowed.
§5: Minimum attendance: 12 men.
§5.1: If you bring less, your opponent can play with 12 men, while you have less
§5.2: Everything over 12 men has to be balanced perfectly.
§6: Maximum attendance: 18 men.
§7: Playable maps are all random maps medium.
§7.1: Both regiments have to agree on a map. After 5 rounds sides will be swapped.
§9: Matches have to be played on official CNWL Servers.
§10: You need to get a referee for your match, otherwise its invalid.
§10.1: Both regiments need to agree on the chosen referee.
§11: Teamkills are activated.
§12: Bonuses are deactivated.
§13: Fall from horse damage is deactivated.
§14: You need to play your match in time.
§14.1: A matchday's duration is from Monday to Saturday Sunday.
§15: The winner gets 3 points, the loser 0. If the game gets drawn, both regiments get 1 point.
§15.1: If one regiment doesnt appear, it will get a 0:10 loss.
§15.2: If both regiments dont appear, both will get a 0:0 loss (both get 0 points)
§15.3: At the end of the league and two teams are on the same points individual game will decide the winner of the league! And if that match was a draw the team who won most rounds will win.
§16: Referee judgings have to be accepted in a running match. You may not discuss it within an unfinished match.
§17: No flaming or insulting. Organisators may punish insults or innapropriate behaviour with ceding or canceling points.
