With NWCL coming to an end it is time to look towards our next draft league. This one will be different in a number of ways, though the specifics are not yet determined.
I hope we can continue to grow this community and retain all sorts of players, if you would like to help manage this league please reach out. Please also feel free to discuss the proposed format, all opinions will be considered.
I'll highlight some of the key points below, full rules will be posted upon finalization. This is mostly just to gauge interest and start discussing things. As we get closer things will be finalized.

Groupfighting

- 4v4 Format
- Best of 3 Maps
- Best of 30 Rounds per Map

Duel Rounds

- One duelest per map (different each map)
- 1 Round, winner can choose to duel again or go to groupfight (max 4 duel rounds)
- 2 Minute Timer, if timer expires dueling is over, move to groupfight
- If someone is noticeably and purposfully trying to force a draw rules will be put into place to address, don't be that guy

Draft and League

- Auction draft, captains all bid on one player at a time
- Goal will be 8-10 Teams
- Possibly 2 leagues depending on sign-ups
- Ideally each team plays twice, so either it will be a longer league or two matches a week
- Start date range, March 19th-26th

Welcome to the NWGL Fantasy League      

THIS IS A FANTASY LEAGUE FOR THE 5V5 LEAGUE - THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY PLAYING

The League will be split into two sections               
1. Team Fantasy               
- Each team will receive $6000 dollars to draft their team.               
- Each team must have 5 players, you cannot choose less or more.               
- You may sell and purchase new players each week.               
- You cannot go over the $6000 dollar cap, you can however be under it.   
- Player pricing will change depending on performance            
- Your points earned each week will go to your total points, whoever has the most at the end wins.               
               
2. Over Under Betting               
- Each week there will be 6 (subject to change) Over Under questions that could be on players, teams, or matches.               
- For each question you simply state if it will be over or under the specified value.               
- Each week bonus points will be awarded to teams based on the amount of questions they got correct.               
    - Six right - 30 pts               
    - Five - 25 pts               
    - Four - 20 pts               
    - Three - 15 pts               
    - Two - 10 pts   
    - One - 5 pts

Eight years ago the first NA NW Groupfighting tournament was hosted. (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=320.0)

Now in 2020 we will have what could possibly be the final NA NW Groupfighting tournament.

On Sunday 3/29 at 9:15 EST we will show up for a "final" hurrah in a 6v6 groupfighting tournament.

There will be NO prize pool for this. I encourage people to team up with different people and sign up as many teams as possible, this will be pure bragging rights and hopefully a good sendoff.

Competitive NA Events/Tournaments / The Pit Weekly Pickups and Tournaments

Welcome to The Pit

What is it?

The Pit will be a weekly pick-up groupfight where captains will pick their teams and pit them against each other (new captains will be chosen each week). I will be recording all the stats from each event and uploading them to a document viewable by anyone. The normal format will be a groupfight each week though some weeks I may add a twist or we may do something else altogether. Heck I may even throw in a prize if I am motivated enough and enough interest is there. This will be a serious event, if you continually troll in these you will be ejected from the matches and could even be suspended or banned.

When & Where is it?

Mondays. The event will take place on a server and teamspeak I provide.

The Pit Rules

• Melee Only (Obviously)
• Anyone not on the server by the time we start picking will be placed in the reserves in case someone leaves.
• Leaving the event early will result in a warning, multiple warnings will result in your disqualification from the event.
• Captains will decide on the first pick through a first to one duel. If the duel lasts longer than one minute shooting mode will be turned on and encouraged to be used. If the duel still does not end I'll think of some way to make it end.
• Both teams will have the same amount of players. If and odd number of people show up...we'll find someone.
• You will do as your captain says no matter who they are and no matter what they say. Failure to do so may result in your ejection.
• Captains will behave in an appropriate matter and not troll.
• It will be a first to 15 groupfight.
• You must be on teamspeak to participate.

To get involved post here or message me on steam, this thread will be altered as more things come to mind. Announcements and server info on event days will be posted in a steam groupchat that ONLY I will have permission to type in. Let me know if you are interested and let me know what day and time you would like best.

Regiments / Leib-Grenadier-Regiment "König Friedrich Wilhelm III.“ Thread 2 - NANWL CHAMPS!

Back Story First Nr.37: April 30th, 2013 - June 11th, 2013 (2 Months) Second Nr.37: May 19th, 2014 - January 24th, 2015 (8 Months) Third Nr.37/LG: November 1st 2016 - Present The Nr.37 was originally formed on April 30th, 2013 by Ryner and Waste. Ryner and Waste were two leading officers in the 1stEPG at the time but decided they wanted to move on so they left to form the Nr.37. With them came a small amount of members such as Boob, Dom13, Guapo, Five, and Dragoon, the originals. Later more members came to the small regiment. The regiment went on doing well winning most linebattles and eventually joining the Renegade Army with the 12th East Suffolk and 9te Lieb Gvardi. Eventually Waste went inactive and the regiment fell to ashes officially disbanding June 11th 2013. On May 19th, 2014, nearly a year later the Nr37 came back. After the 12th disbanded Waste, Johnny, Killershark, Boob, and Bishop formed the Nr37 again with many other 12th members and long time Nr37 members. They were at the top of the scene and even won season 3 league 2 of NANWL unefeated but still struggling with regiments such as the 63e and 71st. The reign lasted for nearly three months until the forming of the 18th where core members who were in the 12th left to join the 18th. The Nr.37 was disbanded but quickly came back four days later, Waste wasn't done. The regiment trudged along continuing to fight against top tier regiments. Lawbringer and AsianP joined and brought about a new era of Nr37 where they started winning again. This continued for 8 months until January 24th, 2015 the regiment renamed to 58e under new leadership of Lawbringer and AsianP after Waste went inactive again. The 58e went on to become the best regiment in North America for many months. Throughout the two Nr37's and up to this new Nr37 there have been a few regiments worth mentioning that had many Nr37 members in them such as, the 1stGG, 2teEPG and the 11th North Devonshire. Now it is time for a new era of reign as the Leib Grenadiers.

Competitive NA Events/Tournaments / The Thursday 2v2 - Hosted by the LG Is back AGAIN Wooo

The LG will be hosting a weekly 2v2 on Thursdays at 8 or 9 EST.  We are using a standard set of NANWL rules with slight modifications to accommodate a 2 vs 2.  The hope would be that the same 4 regiments come every week and we will base teams off of attendance.

Rules:
1) All NANWL Rules apply unless stated otherwise below
2) Regiments will not be forced to balance, within reason.
3) We will play a total of 6 or 10 rounds, switching sides after 3 or 5.
4) The NANWL ban list/game suspensions will not apply.

Hello everyone! After much discussion and endless requests we have decided to announce the signups for the second edition of our North American Scramble League. So far we are planning for a February 6th start date for the opening of the tournament. The rules are going to be vastly different this tournament and the way players are assigned to teams is also going to change significantly. Instead of the standard scramble league system of assigning players to a team, captains are going to be drafting their teams from a player pool. There will be no assigned values or biased picking this time as we are leaving the team selection 100% up to the team captains. Once the sign-ups are over the players will be placed into the player pool and on our pick night, captains will bid to have players added to their team. Our team captains have been already pre-selected by the admin team based on their activity and commitment to the tournament. Team captains are not required to be the callers for their team, if a captain wishes to bid for a player who likes to call that will be their choice to make.

In addition to the drafting changes we are also adding another surprise to this tournament to encourage players to stay with their teams. The winning team will receive a prize pool of $1,500.00 to be shared among the teams top ten performing players. While teams will consist of twelve to fourteen players depending on certain exceptions, not all are required to receive a share of the winnings if the captain feels they did not participate enough. We thought this was an important addition to this tournament so that players will be encouraged to stick with their teams throughout the length of the tournament. A third major change to the rules are that the tournament will run through ten weeks of regular season play followed by the playoffs.

Not sure what Scramble League is? Scramble League is a Warband tournament that you can sign up by yourself without needing a team to participate with. Every player that signs up has an equal shot of winning the title which is our whole goal with this tournament. Finally players who have never been on the star performing teams get their shot to take a tournament seriously and win. This is open to both European and North American players. Our last edition of Scramble League had plenty of European players who had great performances and really made the difference on their teams. Don't be afraid to sign up because of the ping differences!

Tournament Format
- The format is a ladder played over ten weeks. At the end of this time each team will advance to playoffs and be seeded according to their score.
- First place team will play the last place team and so forth.
     
Roster Rules
- Every team consists of twelve players and one captain.
- Players are drafted to their teams by their captains.
- Players have no say in their teams, they may request their captain trade them but the captain is under no obligation to do so. If a player refuses to play for their team they will be banned from the tournament.
- Captains may trade players at any time they wish throughout the season as long as both captains involved agree to the trade.
- Captains may place any inactive or under-performing player back into the player pool and select another within 2 days of their match. If you do this action you are unable to add that player back to your team for two weeks and unable to drop the player you picked up for two weeks. For extreme circumstances this can be appealed.
- The team drafting is a auction bid. Each captain begins with $20,000,000 to spend on their team. Having money leftover at the end has no advantage.
- Players may only play with the ID they signed up with.
- Players may only play with the name they signed up with. This will be strictly enforced with a two warning and then punishment system.
- Players must wear their team tags at all times. This will be strictly enforced with a two warning and then punishment system.
 
Server Rules
- We encourage captains to decide which server is fair for both teams to play on, this tournament welcomes both EU and NA players.
- If both captains fail to pick a server, they should go to the tournament administration and ask for help. The administration will pick a server, which will be final.
 
Fixtures
- Matchups will be determined by Swiss pairings.
- If two teams fail to play their match within the deadline, for the purpose of the next fixture, they will be treated as if they had won their match and lost all rounds.
- Team 1 is the left team and Team 2 is the right team, all according to that week 's thread.
- Fixtures will be preset ahead of time.

Match Rules
- Matches start at a minimum of 7v7. If both teams have eight players in attendance then 8v8 must be played.
- Every match will consist of 4 sets, every set will be played in a first-to-3 format. After a team gets 3 round wins, the spawns and factions will be switched.
- Server Settings
        Game mode: Battle
        Combat speed: Medium
        Friendly fire:  - self 0% / friend 100%                     
        Gold all: 100%
        Round time: 180 seconds
        Respawn time: 8 seconds
        Camera: team member's view
        Blocking: by mouse movement
- Spectators are allowed unless one team wants to play without spectators. This rule doesn't apply to tournament admins, referees and streamers.
- Spectating the match by joining a team after the spawn period is not allowed at any given point. If a player found spectating by joining a team, documented by footage for example, he will be suspended for one match.
- Substitutions are allowed at any time
- If a player on the other team drops, teams are not required to drop a player.
- Five minutes are allowed in between sets and ten minutes between halves. Teams are not required to wait more than ten minutes for a team's players to arrive at the matches start.
 
Behaviour Rules
- Players are expected to treat their teammates with respect and show the will to participate in the tournament, if they refuse to participate and/or show a negative attitude, they may be removed and/or replaced.
- Captains must play every member present to a match for at least two sets.
- Players must be respectful and polite to their opponents on both server and forums. If teams repeatedly show a poor attitude and display rudeness they will be punished by the tournament admins on case-by-case basis.
- Modifying any texture files, excluding modified crosshairs, is strictly prohibited. Any player or team that is found to have modified textures will immediately be banned from the tournament.
- Players that attempt to utilize any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.

All you do is join a server under the name you're given then your account will be linked. Then you queue wait for it to fill hit ready (like CSGO) then join the server you're playing on. It will be whitelisted for you

Back Story First Nr.37: April 30th, 2013 - June 11th, 2013 (2 Months) Second Nr.37: May 19th, 2014 - January 24th, 2015 (8 Months) Third Nr.37/LG: November 1st 2016 - Present The Nr.37 was originally formed on April 30th, 2013 by Ryner and Waste. Ryner and Waste were two leading officers in the 1stEPG at the time but decided they wanted to move on so they left to form the Nr.37. With them came a small amount of members such as Boob, Dom13, Guapo, Five, and Dragoon, the originals. Later more members came to the small regiment. The regiment went on doing well winning most linebattles and eventually joining the Renegade Army with the 12th East Suffolk and 9te Lieb Gvardi. Eventually Waste went inactive and the regiment fell to ashes officially disbanding June 11th 2013. On May 19th, 2014, nearly a year later the Nr37 came back. After the 12th disbanded Waste, Johnny, Killershark, Boob, and Bishop formed the Nr37 again with many other 12th members and long time Nr37 members. They were at the top of the scene and even won season 3 league 2 of NANWL unefeated but still struggling with regiments such as the 63e and 71st. The reign lasted for nearly three months until the forming of the 18th where core members who were in the 12th left to join the 18th. The Nr.37 was disbanded but quickly came back four days later, Waste wasn't done. The regiment trudged along continuing to fight against top tier regiments. Lawbringer and AsianP joined and brought about a new era of Nr37 where they started winning again. This continued for 8 months until January 24th, 2015 the regiment renamed to 58e under new leadership of Lawbringer and AsianP after Waste went inactive again. The 58e went on to become the best regiment in North America for many months. Throughout the two Nr37's and up to this new Nr37 there have been a few regiments worth mentioning that had many Nr37 members in them such as, the 1stGG, 2teEPG and the 11th North Devonshire. Now it is time for a new era of reign as the Leib Grenadiers.
