2nd Regiment Of Foot
Waterloo Anniversary Event


A historically themed event, with a specially produced map to celebrate the anniversary of the battle of Waterloo.
The event will be a conquest, with special scripts & administration to help recreate the events of the battle, however, the outcome is not forgone!




~The Map~
Our event uses an extremely large, true to life replication of the field of battle, used in last years anniversary event, ensuring it is tested and has no bugs that could disrupt play.

The 2nd Regiment of Foot is hosting a new event - a conquest pretty gud WW1 event

Event starts at 7:00 UK time (GMT/BST)
All Units can have one to three officer class; musicians, ensigns and sergeants are at the regiment's disposal
Bonuses on - 100% effectiveness
Cavalry can't capture points (this is done automatically)
Units must stay cohesive; less than 3 must retreat and join a friendly unit.
Points will be at 1000 - est. round time 30 mins, with sideswap in the middle
No blocking doorways with earthworks
Artillery may take 2 sappers Sappers have shotguns
Line and Lights have fast firing muskets and 1xgrenade
Rifles have 100% accurate rifles
Cav have supernades
Arty is hell
Only spawn on your team's headquarters.
Units must move out in groups of 5 or more
Must not attack/capture headquarters until all other points are captured
No RIC when outside buildings/fortifications

Available units are:Line, Lights, Rifles, Cavalry, Artillery

Changelog:
 Line infantry:
Rapid firing musket
HE Grenade

Light infantry:
Rapid firing musket
Fragmentation grenade

Riflemen:
Pinpoint precision, deadly rifle which can kill multiple people with a single bullet

Sappers:
Shotgun with devastating short range effectiveness, any unit may use 2 max

Ensigns:
Have a scalpel that heals those hit, and revives fatally wounded people

Artillery:
Able to use rapid fire Gatling guns, placed around the map

Mortars fire 3 shots, in a rough triangle
Cannonballs explode when bouncing, releasing shrapnel

The 51st Regiment of Foot is hosting a new linebattle - with slightly tweaked rules to improve game balance, based on feedback from our Saturday event. With this in mind; these are the rules:

All Units can must have one or two officer class, musicians, ensigns and serjeants are at the regiment's disposal
Bonuses on - 100% effectiveness
Less than 3 must join another unit
A unit is "in charge" when any of the unit is within reasonable melee distance to the enemy - about 2 bayonet lengths
Charge distance (the distance at which a unit can spread beyond normal formation) is 10 seconds contact time; if it'd take longer than 10 seconds to catch the enemy assuming they weren't moving, you must remain in formation
If chasing an enemy, you may remain in whatever loose formation, within reason (close enough for there to be a sensible chance to catch the enemy)
Flag bearers get spontoons and act as medics. Line and lights may have 2 max per unit.
