Hi there,

I wish you only the best of luck for this mod, I hope you complete it soon, and a personal favor?
Try to make two separate versions involving a .ZIP file and a .exe instead of just the .exe, please?
Making things in .exe plagues people like me for whom it says "Please install Mount and Blade Warband"
(I think you know what I mean, it'd be a big help if you do that PLUS host it probably at Mediafire?)

Blood & Iron / Re: Blood and Iron in ROBLOX
« on: February 06, 2017, 01:09:52 pm »
Thread necromancy, I'm aware.

Guys, before you all start egging a little kid's game for copying your idea (which was really there before Blood & Iron started. Also, it's  Iron & Blood, get it straight, you damn Parrot) let me clear up a little bit of confusion.
CoderQwerty, the guy who developed the game, should get a pat on the back for actually making something like Mount and Blade Warband: Napoleonic Wars on another game. The concept's not new, I agree, but it's not like he's ripping the whole thing off of MnB:NW. Few pointers as to why:-
1. It features a wide choice of units, and it depends upon the map as to which class of unit is unlocked, unlike most Mount and Blade maps which feature all the classes somewhere or the other.
2. The uniform viewer is not a stationary gadget in Blood & Iron. You can literally see everything, starting from what add-on you're adding to your hair to which uniform you're wearing alongside that add-on and how it looks CLOSE-UP. You don't get to see yourself wearing a white beard and an eye-patch while you view yourself wearing a Grenadiers a Cheval uniform, do you?
3. There's a completely different variety of units to select from than as shown in Mount and Blade: Warband. Plus, there's a regular change-over of which special unit pops up for each faction (No, special, not elite. Last time we saw France change over from Legion d'Irlandaise to the Legion de la Vistule)
4. There's different animations for reloading and firing. It's an extra click to fire, in which LMB gives you a 'Make ready' form where you hold your musket up cocking the hammer, and RMB gives you a 'Present arms' form where you lower your rifle, then you can fire. The moment you left click, you're stationary, you can't move until you left click in the 'Make ready' mode again to uncock the hammer and shoulder your musket.
5. You cannot use fire-arm type weapons on a horse. Plus, there's no couching lance damage. You gotta aim well with your lance, and you gotta get off your horse as a dragoon/officer to use your carbine/pistol.
6. You don't get a choice to select between Factions. There's always the French side, and there's always the Allies side. It differs from battle-to-battle whether you're France against Russia (For example, at La Rothiere), France against Nassau (Ex. at Papelotte), France against Britain (Ex. at La Haye Sainte or Hougoumont), France against Prussia (Ex. at Wavre), France against Austria (Ex. Arcole)

So there you have it. Blood & Iron IS different from Blood & Iron: Age of Imperialism

Skins & OSP Resources / Re: Kingdom of Holland
« on: January 24, 2017, 03:27:20 pm »
Hello, and greetings.

I know this might be thread necromancy, but I just needed to clear some stuff up with the skins.
First, as it may already have been pointed, they're the United Kingdom of the Netherlands (Or what the skins you made look like).
The Kingdom of Holland was a puppet state created by Napoleon in 1806 to further strengthen his grip on the vassal state by placing his brother Louis (Konig Lodjewik I de Goede) on the throne. Afterwards, it was annexed by Napoleon when he found out Louis was unhappy with Napoleon's imperialism and contacted Austria for help. When the Holland-Belgium region was liberated, it was united as the United Kingdom of the Netherlands (Which included modern-day Netherlands, a fusion of Holland and the Duchy of Nassau, and the modern-day Belgium, which the Kingdom of Holland did not include)

Now, regarding the uniforms. The double breasted uniforms are one thing. I've also noticed that most people (Perhaps due to focusing majorly on the uniforms instead of the hats) use the Bavarian plate as a substitute for the original shako plate (With is like the British plate, except with a big 'W' with the inward lines of the VV crossing each other). Another thing I noticed in the hats was the Hussards. You've literally mounted the Brandenburg Royal Cipher onto the hats instead of the original crowned W (Which you can even find on centjours.mont-saint-jean.com) Dude come on. The Bavarian plate was one thing. Dragging Prussia into this is another.

Another thing was noted that the shakos were like Austrian shakos. True they look French, but that's because the Nassauers/Dutchmen/Belgians had been in French service for YEARS before 1814. They were bound to base themselves upon the French model. The thing that makes them unique is the front-back double visor (The same thing Austria has, look at the back of the shako) and their heavy reliance on carrot-shaped plumes instead of the hefty feathered models that the French used. The uniforms were also single-breasted. They didn't have double breasts like the French (The carrot plume and single-breast uniforms seem to have been from all the British influence on the Dutch-Belgian Army)

Other than that, I have nothing to say.

Hey there, Attila!

So I was looking at the pre-1806 uniform pack, and I happened to notice that it's lacking the Death's Head Hussars you were working on (You know, the ones with the Old-style headgear).
I'd really like to know when you're releasing that regiment, since I'm a great fan of the Totenkopf Husaren (as well as your skins), and I'd love to see them complete your pre-1806 pack.
