Why isn't there a Crimean War mod for NW

I am NOT making this mod. I am simply suggesting that it would be a good mod

I was wandering just the other day why nobody has chosen to make a mod set in the Crimean war for NW. I'd love to be able to sit down and make this mod with a small team but I have no clue as to what to do for modding.

A mod like this could have a good deal of potential. The only thing I'm not sure about is how the community would receive it.

Factions:
There are 5 factions to play as:
United Kingdom
France
Ottoman Empire
Kingdom of Sardinia
Russian Empire.

An easy option if making these factions would be to have the UK, France and Russia as individual ones and combine Sardinia and Turkey into one. This is because the majority of forces were French, British and Russian and a small minority were Turkish and Sardinian

Weapons
The massive change in military technology from 1812 to 1855 was massive.

Percussion Cap long barred rifles were standard issue to most men in the field, reducing reload times and increasing accuracy. This would make events faster passed and more aggressive. Now there would be no need for the accuracy in game to be massively bumped up. As accurate the rifles themselves were their holders were not all trained marksmen.
Britain: Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket (rifled)
France: Pattern 1851 Minié rifle(rifled)
Russia: Models 1844, 45 and 55 percussion musket (Smoothbore) and some Pattern 1851 Minié rifle (rifled)
Ottomans: Models 1845 and 55 percussion musket (Smoothbore) and some Pattern 1851 Minié rifle (rifled)
Sardinia: Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket and Pattern 1851 Minié rifle(both rifled)

All of these used percussion caps and obviously had bayonets and this mod could use the same idea used in North and South and now War of 1812 with the removable bayonets.

Cannons now had rifling and shrapnel shot was in mass production for the UK.

Multi shot pistols were beginning to become standard issue within Nation's armies but where mostly held by officers that could afford them.

Entrenchment ideas had advances, some historians fell the Crimean war was a dress rehearsal of WW1, and sappers in game would be given a much wider variety of build able in placement.

I think you miss understood. I'm not making it as I have no idea how to do so.  I'm simply putting the idea out there for people to work off of.

1. The British and French were armed largely with rifled muskets the Russians had smoothbore muskets which means that the British and French have a great advantage over the Russians.
2. Since the French and British will have rifled muskets it means that their main units will be more long range shooting rather then close range fights. Plus the fact that the officers will have revolvers would also make things difficult.

However if someone does make a good Crimean mod then alls good and good luck. Need some good NW mods

This is very true and are disadvantages but I'm sure somebody could find a way to level the playing fields. Maybe give the russian units more Minié rifles which they did have.

I've never found the Crimean war very interesting, what was it even about? Just checked Wiki, "The immediate cause involved the rights of Christian minorities in the Holy Land." Another war over religion. Would not pray again 2000 BC/ 33AD - Islam

I remember the Crimean War being a mod in development. I think it came down to the fact that the modders working on it left to work on other projects or just disband outright. But most likely the first.
