What is this mod like, there's not much information about, I just want to find out a little bit more so I don't waste time downloading.

Please see the Information & General Discussion (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=13419.0) thread. In short, Iron Europe is a World War I mod (1914-1918) for Napoleonic Wars. Converting the gameplay from linebattles to trench warfare. Firearms are much more deadly, artillery can be devastating and you do not want to be on the receiving end of a truncheon. Currently the player can play as the French or German forces, with other factions planned like the United Kingdom.

Iron Europe brings new features to the gameplay to bring the trench warfare to life, on a technical level, the features achieved is astounding for the Warband engine. Iron Europe is active with servers and events populating it.
