Is there someone who still draws regularly and wants to give some tips to beginners?

I'm wanting to draw stuff to bring my fantasy to life. I always wanted to be good at it but it seems I just suck at it.

Thanks in advance. :)

Just do what I did, give up on ever drawing anything awesome like Thundersnow's work and shittily draw south park characters instead.

This is my favourite thread I do not contribute to  ;D
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.

Youtube is your best teacher!

I highly recommend you get into the basics first.
-Anatomy
-The face
-shadows
-perspective

This link really got me ahead leaps and bounds.  He's an art teacher at some fancy schmancy college in NYC.

Once you know what the skeleton looks like underneath all that skin and muscle, it really makes it easier to make your drawings 'come to life'

It's a grind, but like with anything, the more you put into it, the better you will get!

Ha that's actually pretty good.

But don't ever look at someone elses art and give up in frustration.  I went to school with some of the most amazing artists I'd ever seen, and that feeling of "I'll never be that good" was overwhelming!  But you gotta keep plugging away.  Now they don't even draw anymore, and I'm making millions!  (Just kidding, artists are always poor, but I'm still drawin baby!!!)

PS, Here's my latest page  ;) :

the sword isn't worth commenting, it's made just to look cool
but that's not drawing, it's made by 3D modelling program
