Well here is my marine gear, the kit presented is incomplete due to me having lent out some of my gear to a new member for his fist event. This is for the 1st Battalion, Portsmouth division. The uniform here is the supposed 1786 regulation version. The coat here is my old one and i have since got a better, more correct one This is the uniform worn  for the expedition to Australia in 1788. The canteen is my french one.

Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

Heres mine!

This is my loadout so far for my 10th Illinois, which fought under Sherman's command throughout the war.

It is not completed nor do I think as a reenactor, we'll never get enough of this stuff lol. Anyway, I will be installing apporiate "plates" to my Cartridge box soon and still needing a federal issued blanket. This wool blanket I have is pretty much idealistic for Confederate impression which I am working on slowly for 150th Chancellorsville and hopefully next year I may join a unit that does both side of the war. My confederate impression is far from a start (a hat and haversack....belt buckle so far...lol)

Oh yeah....that's pretty much my stuff right now.

I actually catch myself wearing the sack coat sometime during non-reenactment time. I totally would wear that greatcoat but the weather here lately seem to me that Summer isn't finished with us -_-  All the other counties got snow but not us. Lol

I love 18th century uniforms. I've heard they are expensive though.

Because I am too lazy to go downstairs and grab my gear from the basement, I will post some pictures that I already have.

Here is my 1858 Dress Hat (Called "Hardee Hat" by reenactors)

This was bought because we were portraying the 7th Wisconsin at the now legendary Maryland my Maryland Cornfield scenario. I got it from Tim Bender if anyone is interested. I'll post some of my other gear later when I'm not lazy.

Tim Bender does really look like he did a great job on them. I cannot hardly wait for the first event of the year to come up so I can break in my new gears.

For a weekend you pay 200,- to 250,- euros. Most of the times, it are trained policehorses...but you might as well get a green one. Which would suck.
