I no longer maintain this forum. If you want the latest version of the mod, go here: moddb.com/mods/the-great-northern-war-reskinremodel

The Great Northern War

This is a reskin of Napoleonic Wars that changes the factions and units of NW, into units from the Great Northern War.
It's just a reskin, so it works perfectly fine on normal Napoleonic Wars servers.

The Great Northern War lasted for 21 years and was located in North-Eastern Europe.
The main belligrents was the Kingdom of Sweden, against the Anit-Swede Coalition, consisting of the Tsardom of Russia,
the Kingdom of Denmark and Norway, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and the Electorate of Saxony.
It was the final war that decided, which country that was to become the dominant power in Northern Europe.
In the end, Russia won the war.

Yeah that would be highly appreciated. I agree that they look really bad. But I looked everywhere,
but the only thing that I found was that they had 600 line and 6000 cavalry at the battle of Klyzcow XD

Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth in Polish is "Rzeczpospolita Obojga Narodów", not "Królestwo Polskie"
WIKIPEDIA
The Kingdom of Poland,[1] informally known as Congress Poland[2] or Russian Poland, was created in 1815 by the Congress of Vienna as a sovereign state of the Russian part of Poland connected by personal union with the Russian Empire under the Constitution of the Kingdom of Poland until 1832. Then, it was gradually politically integrated into Russia over the course of the 19th century, made an official part of the Russian Empire in 1867, and finally replaced during the Great War by the Central Powers in 1915 with the theoretically existing Regency Kingdom of Poland.[a]

You can check this link, it's a mod to Empire Total War with all the regiments in correct uniforms.

And btw. Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Electorate of Saxony were in this time sort of one nation.

Concerning Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, you may want to take a look at this page. These are pictures from book called "Żołnierz Polski" ("Polish soldier") by Bronisław Gembarzewski. He was historian and specialist on the matter of polish military history, his books and drawing are ones of the best I've ever seen. Unfortunately, books are quite old, it's hard to get them and images on the internet are quite often of very low quality. Anyway, you should take a look at this book. About half of pages are about units formed in 1717 during so-called Silent Sejm, during Northern War, but honestly, I'm not sure if any of these units indeed fought during Norther War (theoretically book covers period from 1697, so who knows). Anyway, maybe it will be useful for you, it's always better to have a bit too young uniforms, than to not have any at all. Descriptions are in Polish, but you can always look at dates and, well, google translate is always good friend ;)

Johny, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Electorate of Saxony were not a one nation as far as I know. There was only personal union, so they had one ruler, but all other institutions remained separated. Silent Sejm also confirmed, that only person of a ruler shall connect these two countries.
There is a story that scientists built an inteligent computer.
The first question they asked it was "Is there a God?"
The computer replied "There is now."
And the bolt of lightning struck the plug,
So it couldn't be turned off.

Hey, thank you both Johny_Nawalony and Raddeo for your help. I will start working imediatly.

Btw, I am aware that Saxony and Poland were in a personal union at the time, but like Raddeo said, they were like to different countries. Originaly, I had them as the same faction with Prussia being Prussia, but it didn't really fit so well.

After taking a quick look at the uniforms it seems like the quality of them vary HUGELY allot. So, are you taking full credit for all of them and which did you CREATE 100%. Cause some seem to be from Deluge/Fire and Sword and some even Persistent Frontier (which probably got their uniforms from someone ells). Im thankful for the time to making this pack, but credit should be done to the creators and it should be visible.
