I’ll go first

Remember that time back in 2014 it was either the 18e or 83rd as it was known back then - John Price had a linebattle against Posh’s 17e. It was memorable because the 18e (83rd) beat the 17e at a score of 9 - 1. It was pretty significant at the time as the 17e were considered a much superior regiment.

Posh was leading the line to start with, all was going well until his dad called him down stairs for a nappy change as quote ‘My pampers are now officially full’. This was disastrous as Posh was the only member of the regiment that had learnt to talk. Welsh took command the second round but nobody could understand what he was saying, as his name suggests he’s from a third world country. That just left Nozza (remember this was way back in 2014) Nozza was still learning to walk and Will still hadn’t come out the closet. Nozza allowed his Cat to take the lead which had been in a catastrophic car crash just the day before but they had no other choice. Nozza’s cat was doing well for the first half of the third round until it got stuck up a tree so McPero had to leave as he was on fire duty that day and had to attend to the situation. And if it couldn’t get any worse John Price got so excited taking the lead in this battle he stabbed himself in the forehead with his safety scissors (which his mum warned him not to play with) but was determined to carry on the battle with what we now realise is severe brain damage. But considering the state of the commanding capability of the 17e without baby posh he was still at a massive advantage. Draken considered taking command until everyone realised what his voice sounded like and everybody couldn’t stop laughing at him. Apart from Will who was too busy masturbating over posh’s ‘ratchet top’ picture of himself.

This is the betting event for fse, here you can take part in numerous events by betting on possible outcomes. You will be given 100 gold to bet on 1vs1 Linebattle match fixtures and Tournaments, the event is completely free and there is numerous prizes to be won, all you need to do is sign up! The basic concept is that each Regiment, team or player will be given specific odds and you can use your gold to bet on them to win, draw or on other miscellaneous possibilities.

What if i lose all my gold? On the 1st of every month all users bank accounts with a balance of <100 will be topped back up to 100 gold again.

What happens to my bet if the match is canceled or if there is absents? If a match is canceled or a Regiment, team or player is absent from the match you are eligible for a full refund plus 2% extra in compensation, i.e. if you bet 100 gold on X player to get X kills in a round but that player is absent the entire match you will be refunded 102 gold.

Match Fixing Accounts suspected of match fixing will be suspended immediately, proof is not required for this discipline to persist. There is a number of reasons for suspected match fixing that includes suspicious transactions through bets, gold transfers and match throwing. Proof of Match Fixing will result in a life ban.

What do the percentages mean? The percentages are based on the bet returns, if you bet 100 on Team 1 to win at 100% and it comes in, you will receive back all your initial bet plus an extra 100% of the initial bet, so your potential return is 200 gold. If you were to bet 100 on a draw at 300% and it comes in, you will receive your initial bet back plus an extra 300% of that initial bet, so your potential return is 400 gold.

How do I bet? Just send a request by replying to this thread i.e. '100 gold on Team 1 (or specific regiment) to win'

What does it mean if the odds percentage boxes change colour? If the box turns green this means the odds have risen from the original published odds. If the box turns red this means the odds have fallen from the original published odds.

What does 'Susp' mean? This is the abbreviation for suspended, this will be marked on the event screens when a match has resulted or if there is any problems, such as cancellations.

You may not bet on more than one straight option - Betting on both teams to win is not permitted to prevent pot splitting, Napoleonic Wars is a game where draws are more difficult to obtain, therefore the odds of success are too high. You can only bet on one team to win.

A tipper can earn up to 10,000 gold from wins on their success yield, so if you wish to make a tip just read the 'rules and rewards' section to get a better understanding, add a tip in the comments and it will be added here

Tipping is based on your own opinion, if you have a brief or even vast understanding of a particular event you can post a tip and this will create you a yield - a tip must contain a reason and betting decision.

What is the success yield? Every time you post a tip that wins you will be given a green marker on your success yield, if the tip loses you will be given a red marker. Three green markers in your success yield can earn you 200 gold, four can earn you an extra 300 gold and five can earn you 10,000 gold.

Events: EU / Murphy - Event Idea

EVENT IDEA

The initial idea is standard, it's a Melee Tournament similar to the NWWC but with a twist on the Nations, the full rules and specifications haven't been fully developed yet, I just want to know your opinion.

The colour of the area that you live in is the team you play for!

Off Topic / Napoleonic Wars: Total War

Hi everyone,

I have been helping a developer recently who works on a MOD called Seven Kingdoms: Total War, doing research using my knowledge on asoiaf. If you want to check it out it's here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/seven-kingdoms-total-war

I was thinking that it would be a laugh to create an Arcade mod with him after he has released SKTW based on this community. We will be using the Napoleon: Total War platform and will consist of various Regiments well known to the community. Each line regiment will include 25 men and will march in single column formation as we do during Linebattles.

Morale is based on the discipline of a regiment but this really shouldn't affect too much in terms of balance and will remain relatively the same*

Will Artillery, Cavalry and Rifles be included? Yes, but they won't be of any particular Regiment for now, they will be included to choose from to be added as support units within linebattles if you choose to have them. Cavalry is the first on the list to be included as Regimental based but is low priority.
Artillery units will have one cannon, Rifles will consist of 8 men, Cavalry as 12.

Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / Napoleonic Melee Depletion Tournament [MDT] - POLL VOTE!

The name of the tournament is the 'Melee Depletion Tournament'; how it will work is we start with 64 players and Teams will be randomly generated using an online generator. (If the teams prove too unfair we can vote to regenerate)

Round 1: It will consist of 2 randomly generated teams going head to head in a first to three 32 vs 32 Groupfight

Round 2: The winning 32 will then be halved to 16 vs 16 to fight in another first to three

Round 3: The winning 16 will then be halved again to 8 vs 8 to fight another first to three

Round 4: The winning 8 will then be halved again to 4 vs 4 to fight another first to three

Semi Final: The winning 4 will then be halved again to 2 vs 2 to fight another first to three wingman

Final: The winning 2 will then face in a first to three duel.

What makes this tournament special is that there is no waiting time, players always participate in a fight and involves both Groupfighting and Dueling fighting styles to become the victor.

Team Leaders will be assigned - Anybody with leading experience in Regimental or Melee related events has the opportunity to volunteer, you will be organizing 32 players who you do not know and they are relying on you to provide good helpful and tactical advise, so only competent volunteers please.

Most Supportive Player: Unknown

Most supportive player is the player that throughout the tournament showed the utter most respect and played in the middle of the group to help team mates get kills rather than hogging them for him/hers self. The most supportive player is a team player and by no means do you have to get far in the tournament to earn this place.

I am posting this out of being curious to know if many of you have known friends or members of Regiments that have just simply vanished?

I have had a member under the steam name of obThorbi, I don't know if many of you remember him, he was a pretty quiet member, he went under the name of 22nd_Foot_Pte_Spartan in game and played Groupfighting on a regular basis.

One day we finished up on a linebattle, he had no mic but he typed in chat: 'Great linebattle guys, see you all later, good night'

Community / The Reunion Groupfighting Tournament

Hey all,

This is not yet an event so please do not move this post

I've looked at previous posts and one of the best ones I have seen and I feel was one of the most valued events in the competitive community was Hekko's Regimental Groupfighting Tournament further hosted by Karth. This event will be based on that. I would like it if the previous strong Regiments from the 2014 period be a part of this event, I.e. Nr.24, 92nd, 17e, 14e and so on. the rules to this event will be that your members within each team must have been within the Inactive, disbanded or active Regiment during a similar period of time of it's life span and this will be monitored, obviously including other rules that are yet to come.

The main reason I am posting this is that I am looking for some help hosting this event such as servers.

To help with getting your lazy disbanded asses back on to play this event the winning team will receive:

Throughout my experience of Napoleonic Wars I think it's good to reflect on the communities most renown Regiments and their positions on the top 30 list, It's pretty saddening to say but of those Regiments the majority have now disbanded bringing the end to that 'skilled' era of Napoleonic wars.

This list is based on a collection of community opinion and evidence supported through tournament and 1vs1 Linebattle succession ratios.

Just like the Football community the Napoleonic Wars community is the same when coming to a decisive listing of the best teams, the answer to this is that it's impossible as there is no structure on deciding this and that the majority support their own regiment, there is always going to be disagreements with the list so keep that in mind. But we can come close to a fully accurate list if we collectively obtain data and opinions, ensuring everybody is happy with it.

DISCLAIMER: I am trying to give a legitimate and accurate list, viewing various forum posts for Line battle results and other tournament based information including individual personal views, please be aware that the likes of 17e and Nr.24 are included as the previous regiments 2ndCSG and 15e, I do not put Regiments that I have had feuds against in the past lower down on my list, this is not seen as a popularity contest, this is based purely on the Regimental skill with a warm welcome to other peoples diplomatic positive or negative feedback.
